as wat people said floyd is the best at cherrypicking he waits till theres another paper chump then he comes out from his naked dungeon and fights them

what a ****** post. if ortiz is a quitter then what is clottey? ortiz would wax clottey...and if mosley was grandpa vs floyd then what was he against manny, great grandpa.....and if baldo is target practice, then what is a slower margarito w/o plaster wraps? and if judah is **** stamina then what is draining odlh to 145lbs which he had not fought in 10 years and needed an iv the day of the fight so he didnt pass out...or fighting after odlh after floyd, or fighting hatton after floyd......just admit the most important person in mannys camp is his matchmaker, he does an incredible job finding depleted fighters at the right time...too bad it didnt work with jmm at age 38, jmm taxed that ass!

Bottom line, had Pac fought Mosley and Ortiz when Floyd did, you guys would have all said those were damn good fights.

Mosley was past his prime but what he'd done prior to fighting Floyd made the fight a good one. I remember Arum and Roach, along with loads of fans saying "Floyd won't fight Mosley, he's too much of a risk after knocking Margarito out". He did and now it's a cherry pick???

And I remember loads of fans after Ortiz beat Berto and said he'd like to fight Pacquiao saying "Ortiz-Pacquiao is a great fight. Hope it happens. We all know Floyd won't fight Ortiz after beating Berto. Ortiz is clearly the best WW other than Floyd and Manny". Floyd fights him an it's a cherry pick???

I've never seen a fighter with wins like Genaro Hernandez, Angel Manfredy, Carlos Gerena, Diego Corrales, Carlos Hernandez, Jesus Chavez, Jose Louis Castillo, Victoriano Sosa, Arturo Gatti, Zab Judah, Carlos Baldomir, Oscar De La Hoya, Ricky Hatton, Juan Manuel Marquez, Shane Mosley, and Victor Ortiz, get so much s**t. If Floyd's resume sucks, than a future HOF guy like Cotto has an F resume.

And people always get on Floyd for fighting Baldomir. But, the bottom line is that Baldomir had beaten Judah to win those WBC and RING title, when Judah was recognized as the #1 WW. That fight was way way way better than Pac choosing to fight Joshua Clottey, who hadn't won a fight in 2 years at that point. It wasn't a really good or great win, but it was a decent win at that time.

People just need to shut up and appreciate the fact that we have two good fights from Floyd and Manny in May-June.

And the same clowns saying "Floyd fighting a Pac leftover now" are the same clowns that would have been saying "Floyd is ducking Cotto at 154 and fighting Canelo" had Floyd fought Canelo. Just like the same clowns saying Bradley is a crap fight would have said Pac is ducking Bradley had Pac chose Marquez again or some s**t.

          Ridiculous.
Sorry but in Mosley you are talking about an out of prime 38 years old Mosley that was inactive for 16 months .... FACTS ..... he has not won since that fight ..... and looked BAD in all 3 fights! Mosley's can still beat someone if the opponent is made for him ... meaning the perfect style.

Ortiz: Ortiz fought once at 147 and was knocked down TWICE!!!! His previous fight, he fought someone who countered him well but was no Floyd in Peterson .... and we can never forget the Maidana fight.

Cotto vs Floyd at 154 ... a duck? Who even mentioned that fight or even thought Floyd would go for it to even consider "ducking Cotto" .... the duck was 4 years ago perhaps but now? No!

By the way, Manny fought Mosley ... while Mosley was not inacitve he was OLD .... OLD is OLD ... not just for Floyd ... even Floyd said before the fight "Mosley is OLD"

everyone knows mosley is past his prime and was inactive for a decade
thats the reason why floyd pick ehm

that makes mosley a rusty old fighter
see how slow floyd wants mosley to be?

              old + rusty

Mosley is in shape to fight year round and was already in training for a fight. Weak excuse.

But Ortiz was rated #3 and is definitely as good as he's been and young and strong. It was a good fight for Mayweather who was very tense, he respected Ortiz' power, and he should have.
Ortiz needed a few more under his belt before he was supposed to take on a Floyd .... he was knocked down TWICE his previous fight and had a draw in his fight with Peterson .....

Perfect guy for Floyd you SUCKER PUNCHED the naive Ortiz.

Mayweather was inactive and old, Ortiz should have been able to win

training is not the same as the real thing .....

                      and

you are wrong about "already training" in that you make it out as something that was beneficial for Mosley .... Two consecutive training camps on a older Mosley may have taken out a lot out of him..... can't be good for that old body ..... even Floyd's team says that about Floyd's training camps ... in that it takes a lot out of Floyd.
