Oh shut up. If the referee had $$$$ on his mind he would have pulled them apart at every opportunity. Until the DQ I thought to myself ''Did Kirkland fuck this guys daughter''. Now I realise that it was nothing personal and that he didn't have his own agenda, he was simply incompetent.

Same Sky commentator on Kirkland-Molina: The referee needs to do something about Molina, this is not boxing.

Surely there's room for common sense. It was clearly a misunderstanding from which Molina gained no benefit.

I'm saying he was doing what he was told to do by the person in the crowd.

Sure he was incompetent but the fact that he didn't deduct a point for holding means nothing to me. I've seen plenty of Hopkins fights, Ward fights, Mayweather fights, and the latest Alexander-Maidana fight which were all filled with a guy who's offensive attack was to punch and grab and hold until the ref pushes you apart. Then I don't hear so many people complaining about some of those guys clinching all the time but rather it's called mastering the inside game or some other load of BS.

My point was that the ref is a loser and someone in the crowd told him what to do and he acted accordingly, notice how the ref was conveniently unavailable for comment when HBO approached him? You think that was by a coincidence? LMAO....come on man, it's so obvious what happened in there.

First, Kirkland doesn't submit to the piss test, secondly he re-hydrates up 20 pounds (diuretics anyone?), was getting beaten badly in the fight, then he wins on some bs DQ. The whole thing reeks of HBO wanting to keep their hype job winning while drawing the attention away from the real issue, Kirkland being a cheater.

Rules are pretty cut and dry, especially in this circumstance so really you should be pi$$ed at Molinas corner and not the ref and especially not Kirkland. A lot of you wear your hearts on your sleeve.

Rules are rules. Thats why no one was dq in the Mayweather vs Judah. A fight broke out between the corners in the middle of a round, and fight continued. The ref should have issued the dq as soon as the corner man came into the ring. It wasn't like he stepped into the ring in the middle of the round. The round was over but the count was still going. It was a bad call, one made to save fragile Jamie Kirkland. What a ****ing joke. I hope Marquez was watching that fight last night, and doesn't fight at the cowboys stadium. **** the texas commission, no big event should be held there, I hope a title fight is never held again in texas.
            Campillo was robbed.
            Molina was robbed.
            **** Texas, end of story.

                    This ^^^ is absolutely true.

I was saying during that fight that Floyd should have been DQ'd because of Roger's behavior.

In the end, its up to the ref's discretion.

This ref felt that the corner should have known better than to enter while the ref was still in the process of counting and doing his job.

Regardless, real fans call it straight. Its no secret that I support Floyd, but I'm loyal to the sport, not any one fighter.

Other so-called fans would do well to think about exactly what that means.

                    Call it like it is.

The bell had already rang before the cornerman jumped in if I'm not mistaken? I'm not mad at the DQ since Molina was stinking it up to high heaven but it was still the wrong call IMO
