I absolutely agree that its all mental with Zab. Imagine how good he would be if he had the mental edge of a Kostya tszyu. Still amazing skills. just wish there was some consistency. Props for his efforts in this one though. It's always been mental with Judah or whether he can maintain the same intensity after getting hit, physically he's still the same. Great performance though, he started ripping right hooks and uppercuts in close, great footwork too, I doubt but am hopeful we see this same Zab Judah again.Comment

Zabs still a C level fighter, it was more about Paris who I thought Paris had more to offer based on his last fight but we saw a whole different Paris tonight, unless he's gonna get serious about training and his career he might as well stop now I can tell Paris still smokes weed the way he was huffin and puffin around the ring he may have blew his big shot young guys want to be floyd mayweather with the trash talking but don't have the dedication or discipline that it takes to make it to the top, maybe he just took zab lightly but then again imo it don't take much to beat zab at this point the blueprint is thereComment

I can't believe people were choosing Paris to win.
Zab did great, just needs to keep his confidence up. When he fights the upper tier guys he gets hit, then he looses focus. He just needs to stay in the zone and keep his confidence, he will do great.
He's on hell of a body puncher and should keep it up, and does well when being first with his jab, being more offensive minded, since that has always been his style. Zab does worst when he waits to counter where he gets the habit of stepping straight back.
Looks good, now we have another name at 140 to throw into the mix.Comment

He probably does, but he also knows what happened with Kosta. That, most likely, was the situation that did it. We never know what Judah will show up.
After he landed the first crisp straight on Paris' chin and realized that Paris couldn't catch him, it was a done deal. Paris looked like he was packing it up as the seconds went by in each round. Couldn't find Judah at all. I was surprised Judah didn't finish the fight earlier.
Anyway, like you stated earlier, Soy... it's all mental with Judah. Talent out of this world, but it just seems like there's too many external factors that he allows to sway him. Could you imagine him with Mayweather's state of mind?Comment

Zab a C fighter cmon he is a b fighter and a low A when he really gets his game i agree he he beat a c fighter in Paris but he still is game when he wantsZabs still a C level fighter, it was more about Paris who I thought Paris had more to offer based on his last fight but we saw a whole different Paris tonight, unless he's gonna get serious about training and his career he might as well stop now I can tell Paris still smokes weed the way he was huffin and puffin around the ring he may have blew his big shot young guys want to be floyd mayweather with the trash talking but don't have the dedication or discipline that it takes to make it to the top, maybe he just took zab lightly but then again imo it don't take much to beat zab at this point the blueprint is thereComment

Excellent post. The moment somebody tags Judah clean, he panics.I can't believe people were choosing Paris to win.

He's no B level fighter because that would suggest that Khan is an A level fighter which we all very well know isn't true, it's a good win for Zab against a green fighter, nothing new..Comment

This is one of the first fights I've seen where Zab actually used an educated jab. He used as a weapon, as a range-finder, and to blind Paris for the straight left. Judah has one of the most proficient offensive arsenals when he actually uses all of the tools properly. He switched gears when he needed to, he never seemed to be out of focus, this was basically a Super Judah performance as it should be. Now of course, the opposition wasn't rough, so he needs to prove that he can be as efficient when he fights a guy like Peterson.I can't believe people were choosing Paris to win.
