When the fight actually was legal, and it was in the center of the ring Kirkland got off the better punches coming forward. The ONLY time Molina WAS effective was when he would literally hug, and hold Kirkland's arms, jump out and hit him before Kirkland had a chance to bring his damn hands back up from Molina holding them down. I'm literally baffled at the people in here who are SUPPORTING that DISGUSTING incompetence from the Ref and Molina.

I understand when a fighter clinches to break a fighters rhythm, and then right away jump out of the clinch, but Molina would just RANDOMLY hold Kirkland's arms down, and do nothing, and Kirkland, who was waiting for the Ref to break it up (which NEVER happened once) would be distracted and Molina would more or less cheap shot him.

The only people that APPRECIATE that constant, pointless, excessive holding from Molina are people that hate Kirkland and wanted him to lose from the gate. You people are pathetic. If there's a rematch, and there is a more competent ref like Smoger or Bayless, and the excessive clinching isn't allowed, Kirkland blows Molina away in a few rounds, and THAT'S on the record. I'll bet with anyone on here if it happens.

MYSTICALLY (lol) in the 10th when Molina was tired and getting tagged and hurt more, he got rocked and dropped RIGHT away, because finally Schorle (The Ref) woke up and started to break them right away, Molina couldn't keep away from Kirkland and was getting hit with everything and got floored. All Molina did was try to survive and throw 10 punches around ALL night. This was 10x worse then Hopkins' flat performance against Calzaghe. If this was the Molina who beat Cintron, and he fought like that I'd give him respect, but his only defense tonight literally was non-stop clinching, and shame on any of you who support it.
Molina did nothing but clinch the ref screwed up this fight all night then finished it off by screwing it up at the end with the DQ.

Tough call but Kirkland may have won anyway

The DQ seemed misplaced even if technically correct. However, I do think Kirkland had a bit better than 50% chance of getting rid of Molina in the last 2 rounds. Carlos was tired and catching cleanly. And he was the one that was busted up after the fight as a result of taking the harder shots.

Molina was the dirty one yesterday,no doubt, but he was well ahead in everyones scorecards(except that piece of turd of Gae or whatever his nameis)

Last 2 rounds are a great ?¿ imho I could see no legs neither in Molina nor in Kirkland at the final stages of round ten.

Kirkland just stated what I thought of him a one puncher strong guy nothing more ,no footwork,no speed no upper body moves. He ll be exposed again sooner than later.

My thing is the bell did ring.
Exactly...they were reaching at straws because HBO had to have Kirkland win by any means because he is their "star"...they think he reminds people of Tyson or something.

The bell rang, there was no warning, and Kirkland will test dirty for steroids when the smoke clears (quote me on that) and they force him to take his urine sample. The decision will be reversed and it wil be Kirkland who is DQ'd and possibly going back to prison for drug usage while on probation...sorry Anne Wolfe...dis mutthaphukka going back to da pen.

Molina fought an ugly fight because he needed to
Even if he would have been penalized a point he still should have been up. A lot of fighters including Hopkins Hatton and Mosley have won this way.

The rule is flawed. Molina was in no danger and his corner had a brain fart so he deserves to lose?

I cant even fault the referee moreso than i fault boxing for being corrupt and disorganized.

Kirkland needs to come out throwing

Kirlkand has that face that looks better behind iron bars. But let him come out throwing bombs and let him go wild. kirkkand is a main fight guy exciting and ready to rumble. Try and make him a boxer and a thinker he will get destroyed. It was a terrible decision last night.

Kirkland should've shaken that ref's hand for helping him steal a win.

However, he was comfortably ahead and was probably gonna win the fight. I think that he truly exposed Kirkland as a one dimensional fighter who will struggle against craftier boxers. That ref is a disgrace, and he really ****ed Molina over.
are you serious!!!!!! do you call extra holding, leading with your head, pushing all the time and trying to head butt, crafty????? molina should have had several point deductions for holding and pushing. all the leading with the head and grabbing took away from molina IMO. this was NOT a display of a crafty fighter. the ref was by far the most lazy, horrible ref i have ever seen. and the stoppage was legal. weak but legal and this was not the first time that type of DQ was used. its a part of the texas rules and molina's corner should have known better. Ann wolf does not cut any slack. she gave molina mad props as did kirkland. re-match.
