Morales was very good in the Maidana fight but he didn't win. I think when an underdog does better than expected everyone is quick to say "he could of won". Maidana won that fight. Either way, Morales is more of a gate keeper now, he certainly isn't world class and I have no problem with Garcia saying it. Not trying to hate on Morales, he clearly has turned his career around a bit but lets be honest, he ain't a top fighter any longer. I know a lot of people have a love relationship with Erik, I myself have one with MAB but it's 2012, not 2003.

Let's not be ignorant here. Morales is a bum? Sure you're judging him by his fights after coming out of retirement. I doubt anyone here said Morales was a TOP FIGHTER since he came back from retirement. I think what we love is the fact that he went on retirement, looked like a heavyweight, came back and is still giving us wars worth our money. Something these so called "top fighters" nowadays aren't giving us and we pay $60 to watch them.
