The way a fighter is built can be deceiving. Look at Juan Diaz, he looks soft but had excellent stamina. Now look at Shannon Briggs, dude is a tank but can't throw two combinations without huffing and puffing

Morales looks like he just came off the couch. And the other two Mexicans, Molina and Castillo don't look to be in great shape either. If I were going strictly on who looks to be in better shape, i'd say Mexico goes 0-3 on Saturday. Garcia and Kirkland look in great shape and like they took training camp very serious.

The first time Morales looked like that was against Zaheer Rahim when he thought he'd go to 135.He weighed in around 133-4 and looked flabby. Zaheer befuddled him and he lost. After this he said that 135 was too much for him and went back to130. It was said at the time that ho was squeezed at 130 and too small for 135. Now he's 140 and can't make it. It may be a one-time thing. He'll either have to make it, get killed at 147 or retire.

I think he should retire.

Damn Morales looks soft. It was bad enough against Maidana and Cano but he looks small and like he's carrying a lot of fat.

I also would not be surprised if Morales is back to his old habits (drugs, alcohol, and the party life).

I doubt this is the case. If he really wants that fight vs Marquez he has to look good tomorrow night to have a chance at getting it.
