Round robin doesn't work in boxing. Too many injuries. I'd rather see an eight fighter, single elimination tournament. There would still be injuries, but at least there wouldn't be an expectation of a fighter continuing the tournament after getting beaten up once or twice.
And I concur with the other posters: Haye would never, ever do this. He doesn't want to fight regularly, he just wants the biggest paydays possible (ie, K2.) A tournament is the last thing he'd want to do.Comment

I loved the super 6 mostly because the best fiought the best but injuries/drop outs were the only bad points. Like your idea of an 8 fighter single elimination.
