I would love to see Hatton vs Augustus, it would be a great "tune up" fight before taking on a Mayweather. As for Hatton destroying Emanual, well let's just say I doubt it. In fact I would give Emanual a better than average chance at beating Hatton, but so do Hatton's people, so you know the fight won't happen. There is no way Hatton would take on a legitmate threat, and yes - regardless of his record Emanual is a threat, before taking on a Mayweather, it would be a financial disaster if he lost in a tune up fight.

My pick: Emanual by decision, unless Hatton gets a really good clean shot and KO's Emanual, which I don't see happening...

Soundtraveler-your back from rehab cong**** and stay clean!

As for your prediction...hmmm-now you were solid with your Michael Moorer over Vassily Jirov but Hatton loosing to Augustus...Augustus would have a few moments and maybe a couple rounds but pressure pressure pressure would prevail, I dont like this pick at all.

Hatton won't take this fight no matter how much Augustus talks.

A guy with 25 losses, granted he is a great fighter won't bring any money to the table for Hatton. I personally think Hatton will next fight Cotto.

Rehab - that's funny! I pick the winner based on styles in this one, and we all know Mayweather had his hands full with Augustus, so you have to think that Emanual would cause problems for a Hatton, who simply comes straight ahead every minute of every round. Mayweather will carve up Hatton, and it won't even be a close fight, it will be like watching Mayweather vs Gatti again, and Hatton will be a bloody mess before it gets stopped.

Now, getting back to Augustus vs Hatton, while Hatton has good power, Augustus would frustrate Hatton like never before, and with no lateral movement to speak of, Hatton would spend the night getting pot shotted by Augustus. Let's not forget Emanual has some good punching power of his own, and he is much faster than Hatton, also Emanual is very effective on the ropes as well (when he wants to be), but the fight for him is in the middle of the ring where his speed and movement are his big advantages. I say Augustus controls the fight with his awkward style and forces Hatton to try to land nothing but bombs from a distance, where Emanuals' movement would make it hard for the slower Hatton to land the clean KO blow.

But that is just my opinon, as I said the fight won't happen anyway, as much as I would love to see it!
