Yeah you can't say who'd have won a rematch. Still its not unique that a rematch didnt happen. Far from it. I cannot see this as a major issue. How does everyone know who would've won a rematch? Simply being a favourite against someone doesn't mean you automatically win, this was pretty evident in their actual fight. He should've went after a rematch and it's not like he took on more challenging competition instead.
Yes but its still just a draw against two journeymen.
He did give them rematches and won, that's certainly better than no rematches at all.Comment

Unfortunately your standards are not board certified by the Nevada State Athletic Commission. The job of the ring Physician is to stop the fight BEFORE the fighter goes Blind! Not after.Still Lewis didn't achieve what I find more important than cuts and bleeding: Beating him, as in making him no longer able to continue fighting. Vitali was able to keep fighting, was neither dazed nor unable to defend himself and fight back and was stopped by the ref. The win therefore can't be called convincing to my standards. It should've continued.
And you haven't answered my question in the other thread, please do so in the next time.
In round 4 Vitali proved his vision was fine by maintaining the same accuracy he held in the early rounds and by protecting himself. THis is why he was initially allowed to continue with such a nasty gash.
But in round 6 his accuracy fell off a cliff and he was getting hit on the left side of his face without punching back. Whether this was due to lack of vision, exhaustion, or the uppercut, nobody knows.
The bottom line is the gash was growing not shrinking and Lennox was landing More, while Vitali was landing less. The right call was made.

Im having trouble following you, you're being very vague. The circumstances have already been explained though. Lewis rematched and moved on to bigger things. The brothers did not and instead traded for the most suitable fight for their style. I don't see what the problem or argument can be here, these are facts.
Your argument would be the same as me saying Wlad needed to fight Brewster a 3rd time.Comment

Lewis lost once to two very mediocre fighters in decisive fashion. Who's to say that that outcome wouldn't be there a third time?Im having trouble following you, you're being very vague.
