I've criticized JuanMa but this ref needs to get the fk over it and move on. But in a way, JuanMa needs to explain his allegations and where they came from. Maybe he heard something from a rumor mill or they came off the top of his head from being dazed and confused.

I def. agree w/ the spirit of this thread. I was appalled by JuanMa's actions after the fight. I never bought into the theory that he was punchy and unaware of his comments due to the specifics he offered, but it's clear that his emotions got the best of him that night.

He's now apologized twice, regardless of the motivation behind it (obviously being his desire to continue fighting). I've previously stated that it's up to Ramirez to accept or reject the apology and nobody else. I still believe that, but at this point Ramirez is trying too hard for his 15 minutes of fame.

Either accept it or don't but just move on already. Nor do I think his reaction should have any bearing on the PR commission's final decision

If you notice in the article, Ramirez says me and my SON. He also says OUR reputation.

I had posted before that they wrote an article about Salido not wanting specific judges, which he got removed. They did not mention is this article about Juanma wanting the ref replaced do to CONFLICT OF INTEREST.

This is not the first time Juanma has made these accusations. He made them towards Ramirez Jr after the first stoppage with Salido. Being that the comments were made thru the Islands media (not national tv), is why IMO was swept under the rug. Again IMO I believe (before the fight), Juanma had these allegations scripted in the event that he lost.

To that I say, he made his bed now go to sleep. Keep your mouth shut and don't say something you have to come back an apologize for.

Ref ramirez's reputation is ruined. The ref should sue Loose Lips Lopez for millions. Lopez should be banned from boxing and should have to pay the referee for ruining his name. Lopez is plain dumb look at him. DUH?

If Lopez really had something on the ref and his son, then he should have said something or be quiet after his KO, instead of running his mouth.
