The difference there is that Mayweather wasn't begging for the fight, he wasn't chasing that fight ala Martinez. Also Floyd not just asked Pac but every fighter that he negotiated with after. Martinez is on that "didn't feel the need to" campaign. But, then again Chavez have failed it before and has yet to fight in the state in which he failed it in. While Pacquiao never did anything before. Actually the 2 situations are not similar at all.

You are right when you break it down. I'm just looking at it in the way that it was the only thing that would stop this fight from happening, if in fact Arum was ready to take this fight without the testing. But yeah, they are very different situations. I personally don't like to put too much blame on Sergio, because it is not something, I feel, should stop the fight from happening with anyone.
