id hate to see juanmas career be over....theres always gonna be someone who just happens to have your number, no matter how great you are. Just like his buddy ivan calderon prolly has nightmares of gio segura, salido just seems to have juanma figured out.

if he made up these allegations without any evidence though, then i think he definitely deserves atleast a hefty fine and/or brief suspension

This thing is getting a bit outta hand.In America, we have freedom of speech.Chisora prolly deserves a one year suspension for his foolishness, but at the end of the day, words are just words. If the ref is so offended, let him sue Juanma in a court of law, but i feel he should be allowed to continue fighting.

I really think Lopez shouldnt fight big punchers anymore, he has received more damage in them 2 losses than some guys have received in 5-6 losses. i think one more knock out loss and he should get out of there for good.

You suffer more than a bit from "deformation" yourself. You shouldn't post until you know how to. The ref has hardly any career left to ruin. And... most kids say things they know are not true and regret. It's a common kid trait. The ref is using his 10 minutes of importance to "make hay"..... He may be trying to hold up the kid for money. I can't see any other reason for him not to accept a heart-felt apology. Nobody took the accusation seriously except the ref (if he really did) , and the pompous Commission dumbos. And they probably are also looking for heavy cash fines.

He was very wrong for what he said, but it's only a "storm in a teacup". Boxers are not very bright, but why does he need to crawl on his stomach, ans have his spirit ruined to satisfy a stubborn old goat. That's just as wrong as the original offence.

When battle is over, relentlessness and vindictiveness should have no part in boxing. Boxers embrace when the fight is over. Sportsmanship should prevail.

It wouldn't surprise me one bit it what Juanma said had some merit. Unprofessional, but still warrants investigation.

It wasn't exactly like that. what happens is that a penalty handed down by one Commission is effectively honoured by all Commissions as a sort of "colleagues courtesy". They've done this for many years now.

In the Margarito case, the California and Nevada Commissions were very wrong in refusing to grant Margarito's application for re-instatement, since the penalty was for one year, which had long elapsed, and he honoured that by not even fighting in any other coulnty, which he could have done. Texas was correct, the year was long over.

But, you'll notice that Nevada slipped away from the re-instatement request by passing the decision on to Californis, where the original penalty was handed down.

Should've though about that before Juanma... The showtime people even gave you a chance to retract your comments! We all knew it was career suicide... Except you, you arrogant prick!

Loose Lips Lopez dumb comments destroying the poor ref's honor and family name. Plus getting KO'd twice by a journeyman boxer in devastating manner leaves Loose Lips Lopez with not much of a career left. Suspend loose Lips forever from boxing plus award the ref all Lopez's money. That's fair.
