Is it wrong to have Andre Ward P4P #3?

I feel Martinez wins were good, but not enough to make him #3. i think if he wouldve beat pavlik pre bhop,it wouldve been a better win. paul williams was an ok win.and the rest of the guys he beat were OK. regardless if it isnt his fault that he cant get the big names on his resume, i think his resume isnt really top 3 p4p.

Same case with donaire. I would actually have donaire higher than martinez. beating darchiniyan at a time where he seemed unbeatable and stretching montiel out in 2 rounds was crazy, however i think ward has done alot more

marquez couldve wouldve shouldve beat pacquiao, but on the record, i think his last good win was the first diaz fight.

ward has faced the top dogs in his division and has barely lost a round in all of those fights, which i feel, and no disrespect to marquez, donaire and martinez,i think they are all the best in the game right now,is a better ranking then all 3 of them

Of course it is, he hasn't done anything significant against any top fighter.

The list goes like this at the moment and the boxing community all agree:

    1. Pacquiao
    2. Marquez
    3. Cotto
    4. Martinez
    5. Nonito

    Ward is #8 or so.

You can have him #1 if you want and you wouldn't be wrong.

I think Donaire is number 3, but Andre is a much better choice for number 4 than Sergio. I don't think Sergio belongs above the Klitscko's or Bradley either.

p4p is pretty subjective and theres no standard to how its measured as i feel it means different things to different people. some people base it on overall skill and how fighters would do head to head if they were of similar size, while others rank guys on how well they move through weight classes and/or dominate those divisions.

i personally feel that wards resume is a bit overrated but kessler and especially froch are very good wins. green and abraham aren't elite super middles in my opinion. i also thought bika edged ward when they fought. ward wouldn't be in my top 3 and i usually dont put too much thought into the whole p4p thing...but if i did, i would consider him a definite top 10 guy.

mayweather, marquez, pacquiao, hopkins, cotto, ward, froch, martinez, donaire, and bradley are probably the guys i would have in my top 10. mayweather, jmm, and pacquiao would be my top 3, in that order. the rest of the guys are interchangeable anywhere on my list but obviously ward above froch wherever you happen to place them
