Everybody wants Sergio cuz they know it's easy work.

The only people that won't fight him are the big names because he's a complete PPV failure and a ratings disaster. Why should they give Sergio a payday when Floyd/Pac/JR are the ones providing 100% of the PPV, gate, and buzz?

Erislandy Lara knows how to kiss ass well.

While I'm not against this fight, I just don't see the financials working out. A Cuban and Argentinian won't sell tickets anywhere. And there's a possibility of it being boring. Two counterpunchers waiting for each other to make the first move. But Lara is probably a better name than anyone else at middleweight except for Chavez so it might be possible. Especially if Andy lee gets the Chavez Jr fight, his chances will skyrocket.

Yea, the amount of title holders he's beaten made easy work of him

I didn't think of that... I'd be down for that fight, 154 or 160.

Martinez vs Lara is a GREAT fight for boxing. HBO and Showtime would be willing to pay for this fight. So anyone saying they don't see the financial benefits of this fight STFU!!! Martinez is also the Best Middleweight in boxing right now there is no doubt, and everyone is not calling Martinez out. Only the top fighters in the sport who haven't got the casual fans attention are doing that. Cause they want the opportunity to win a title fighting a true Champ. Not a paper champ like Canelo and Chavez Jr! by the way you will never hear Canelo call out Lara, Kirkland, or Martinez. Hes too busy getting fe washed up fighters for big pay days!

Sergio sells in Atlantic City, Plus Andy is probably gonna fight Vanes.

I've always pictured Lara taking over as JMW/MW champ after Sergio retires. But if I have to break down their fight, I'd say Lara has a good chance at 154. At 160 the power will be the difference and Lara would get hurt.
