I've been in literal verbal "WARS" trying to tell people this for the last 4-5 months.
Froch himself even confirmed this in an interview that Bute's fighting him because he's coming off a loss.
I, myself, believe that Froch will be at a disadvantage. I understand he beat Abraham while Froch was coming off a loss, but so was Abraham.
I just think when fighters fight big fights like this coming off losses, they're at a huge mental disadvantage.Comment

Bute was in some talks obviously but sadly he didn't get in.Comment

Its not that difficult to determine that Bute's people had no intention of throwing him in the Super Six when he had just been basically KOed by Andrade.Comment

How can anyone respect this guy?
Carl Froch, coming off a loss to A. Ward
Glen Johnson, coming off a loss to Carl Froch
Jean Paul Mendy, coming off a DQ win to Sakio Bika (Bika was winning, knocked him down, and hit him whilst he was down - that's why he was disqualified)
the question is not whether the guy he fights comes off a loss or not, the question is : how did the opponent look in his last fight, and who was it against ?
say Froch would have taken an easy fight in between Ward and Bute, would that make him more legit ? not more or less than he is now, because he hasn't taken punishment VS Ward, and he's still a top 168 pounder
the Mendy fight was terrible because dude did get knocked out by Bika, but Bute had to face him to keep his belt
again, you don't know **** son, you need to step yo game upComment
