I don't think Gamboa did the right thing, He should of reacted in a timely manner and told Snob Arum: HELL NO! You are not using me as a stepping stone for another of you fighters two divisions up! It was a conflict of interest of Arum who was giving Gamboa the shaft.
He stayed quiet at the time to talk, then saw it and reacted to late. I understand his reasons, but He just went the wrong way about it. At the end, it was better than been used as a pawn by his promoter who obviously was not acting in Gamboa's best interest.
THE WHOLE INCIDENT WAS SNOB ARUM'S FAULT, 1ST FOR MATCHING ONE OF HIS CHAMPIONS TWO DIVISIONS UP SIDING WITH ANOTHER OF HIS FIGHTERS, NOT KEEPING GOOD COMMUNICATIONS WITH HIS BOXER AND STARTING PROMOTIONS WITHOUT SIGNED CONTRACTS. ARUM WAS UNPROFESSIONAL AND BIAS, ONCE MORE SHOWING THAT HE WOULD DO BOXING A FAVOR BY STEPPING DOWN.
