Williams doesn't get as much credit as he should around here.

I think Williams victory over Martinez is better than Margarito's, considering where Sergio was in his career when he fought each guy.

    Looking at Williams resume:

    Martinez
    Wright
    Margarito
    Ishida
    Quintana

How good does this really make Williams?

I had him losing that fight for one. Sergio took the fight on 2 week's notice for two. The ref jobbed Sergio by calling that trip a kd in round one and the judges gave the fight to Williams because he was a "star" at the time...the "win" was a gift.

            I'll have to rewatch it.

I remember it was very close. I think I might've had Williams up a round or two. I know they traded knockdowns early in the fight.

            But I'll rewatch it.

Either way, considering how Martinez has been whacking guys lately, being how close the first fight was when it ended, is that an accomplishment in itself against Martinez?

it would be...if hadn't gotten brutally knocked out in 2 rounds in the rematch

It was a great fight so I give him credit for that, but I had Martinez winning that fight by a point or two.
