the thing is this: McGirt knew at the end of the fight that Macklin could only win this fight on points because Macklin was very weak in the last rounds of the fight and Martinez became very strong. So suddenly McGirt sees the 11th round with 2 knockdowns which means its a 10-7 round for Martinez: McGirt knew that it was IMPOSSIBLE for Macklin to win the fight on points now and he also knew Macklin wouldnt land a lucky punch in the 12th but would most likely get slaughtered by Martinez. Thats why he stopped the fight.

I only bet 15M, so I don't feel nearly as bad as you do. That's the first and last time I bet against Martinez in any form lol

Some times you have to believe I. You fighters. It's like he saying well we won't win this one. Then stopping it b/c things got rough. It's the last round at least let him go out and try to make it. Now your fighter have a L by KO. You tell your fight if you keep taking that punishment ima stop it. Give them that chance b/c nobody want to get stopped.

His only bad stoppage was Malignaggi-Hatton. That was a terrible stoppage. What was just gonna be a UD for Hatton, was turned to a TKO11, for no good reason.
