This will be so freaking bloody.

Both men would never be the same. Marquez aint going down with dishing out a lot of punishment in return.

    FOTY when in happens.
......the Rios that almost got stopped by Acosta? No

Guarantee you Rios will get stopped by his corner throwing in the towel in the later rounds.
Rios doesn't swarm like Diaz ...he won't land on Marquez enough to stop him or hurt him. I doubt he'll even go down in that fight.

No he doesn't. But he's a lot better than Katsidis at everything.

        Power in both hands.

Is Brandon gets inside like Kats it could be game over.

        Its a very interesting fight.

A younger JMM might make that prediction a reality. If this fight happens Marquez will be on the verge of turning 39, which means he's pushing 40. Like Phantom said, Rios could end the ATG's career. Nobody fights forever....

other than 1 punch he had no success whatsoever ...took 3 punches to land 1 before he got stopped.

wouldn't give Rios a shot by comparing him to a guy that got shut out an stopped but thats just my opinion.

I like Rios, I just see him losing to someone who can actually box.

Fair enough. JMM could very well beat Rios into the ground.

Its a pick'em fight IMO. Rios just seems insanely strong at 135. This fight will happen at 140.

So who knows how he'll look.

.............that would make sense if he was Martinez who's performances have been getting worse and declining.

Marquez just went up two weight classes to compete against the number 1 P4P at the time and was landing 16 punch combos on Katsidis.

....in that case we should really not favor him over anyone... because hes 39.
which means he's old and is probably going to age overnight ..despite no evidence pointing towards that at all..... even if the guy he's fighting almost got stopped by a lesser fighter and is tailor made for his style...

robert garcia will never throw in a towel, haha. and even though marquez is one my favorite fighters and i don't want to imagine him losing, rios' pressure and power sounds like it could upset marquez.

would this fight be at 140? cause isn't marquez fighting for a belt next? so it would be at 140 obviously right? it should, bam bam is too big for 135.

Interesting to say the least. I'm confident both will win and just so weight won't be an issue since JMM is fighting at LWW and Rios had plans on moving up anyway. They should scrap at 140 in July with ease and zero "issues". It would be interesting to see how their styles will work for each other. I love both fighters but JMM will check that chin all night. Although Rios has power I'm pretty sure JMM can negate tht factor with movement and technique. Although I see JMM likes to get pulled into brawls from time to time. This fight would be explosive! Bombs from each end. I guess what it will boil down to is what mentality JMM shows up with. Its in his hands in my eyes....his decision to out class or attempt to brawl with Rios will lead to the final decision. No way this ends in the cards tho...
