Dannny McDermott suffered an upset loss to Carl McNickles, losing a six-round majority decision to drop his record to 9-4-2 in a junior welterweight bout. McDermott dropped his opponent in the second round but couldn’t finish the job and was actually dropped himself in the subsequent round, losing by scores of 57-55 (twice) and 56-56 in a contest that was an entertaining slugfest. abdusalamov claimed walker ducked him but travis walker went to australia to fight a legit name in kali meehan. abdulsalamov has fought no one yet & is still unproven. can he take a punch? no one knows when you are fighting tomato cans who don't fight back. walker would have been in his face all night long. walker doesn't have to waste his time now after beating meehan because he is now in the top 20 in a few organizations after that win. abdusalamov should look to fight jason gavern, nicolai firtha, or manny quezada. beat the C+ level guys first before you start calling out contenders or gatekeepers like walker, barrett, or oquendo....Comment
