Secondly, Goosen Tutor Promotions(Dan Goosen) fighter Andre Ward has "ducked" it thus far.
Stop trolling.
Here's Andre's stance on Olympic style drug testing, for the record:
"I think it is [necessary for boxing]. I would welcome it. I think it's great. That way there is no confusion about who's playing on an even playing field. This is a dangerous sport. You hear whispers about guys, what they're doing and not doing. You have to figure out who's going to pay for it, but once we get past that - I think it should be something that's implemented in every big fight," Ward said."
DiBella, get it through you head, Team Chavez aint gonna fight Martinez. They know Jr can't win and when he loses his earning power go to almost nothing. The crime here is that the scumbags at the WBC are letting them get away with this crap. Right now Chavez Sr is got to be wondering if Jr is really his seed or not. Perhaps a paternity test is in order. In his day Sr willing fought all the best compitition, This apple fell far from the tree
First of all Top Rank/JCC/Arum no one has "ducked" or turn down drug testing. It is something I think will happen since they're not eager to make the fight in the first place. And, sadly Martinez will give them an out if they choose to take it. Whether it should be an out it's another story.
Secondly, Goosen Tutor Promotions(Dan Goosen) fighter Andre Ward has "ducked" it thus far. But, anyways...Not sure what your point is or what you're trying to insinuate. Seriously doubt that Top Rank is doping their fighters. If that's you're thinking.
Chavez didnt take his post fight drug test last fight. He has been busted for diuretics before. He had a DUI just before the fight. He weighed 21 pounds more on fight night than at the weigh in. It doesnt take a rocket scientist to figure out that he used diuretics again for his last fight.
When I heard this news, I began to panic. A chil ran down my spine, I was sweating profusely and suddenly my conscious was attacked with bloody images of this fight. At that moment I did what any man with a sense of civic duty would do - I alerted the authorities.
I told them that there was an insane bald man on the loose who was conspiring to have Sergio Martinez murdered in the most brutal of fashion; namely at the hands of the undisputed middleweight champion of this world, Sugar Julio Cesar Chavez. Thankfully, they explained that they'd already been alerted by millions of other concerned citizens, who didn't want to see such an unspeakable bloodbath occur.

Whatever happened it isn't that Andre was afraid of getting caught doping. The guy is sincerely religious and even wants to be a minister some day.
Drugging is the last thing on him mind.
Oh well, my mistake. My sincere apologies to Andre Ward. No need to test him at all. He is clearly a clean fighter. It's OK that he felt a reason to LIE about working with Conte. It's OK that he turned down the test when AA demanded it. Because, he wants to be a minister one day. That's all that needed to be said. After this revelation I would never even mention Ward with PED's again.
WTF is your problem with Ward? He has come out and straight out said that he is willing to do OST (and did it for years already during the amateurs on his road to the gold medal.)
If it didn't happen for the Abraham fight it was because AA didn't push for it strongly enough. There were other issues of contention if I recall correctly, and Sauerland got their way with the refs and judges.
If OST was a high priority they would have gotten that too.
