Actually, I have no problem with Ward at all. I like Andre Ward. I respect Andre Ward, I like the way he carries himself as well. And, I think he get a horrible rep for being boring and a dirty(in terms of headbutts, elbows, roughhouse tactics) fighter. He enjoy his fights and I don't think he is a dirty fighter(in terms of headbutts, elbows, roughhouse tactics)

He has come out and straight out said that he is willing to do OST

But, saying you're willing to do so it's quite different than actually doing so.

(and did it for years already during the amateurs on his road to the gold medal.)

If it didn't happen for the Abraham fight it was because AA didn't push for it strongly enough.

See here is where I get confused. I don't understand this argument. And, you're not the first one to make this argument. If Ward is sooo willing to do such a test like you and others have pointed out. Then why did AA need to strongly push for it? To me that's kind of a contradiction.

There were other issues of contention if I recall correctly, and Sauerland got their way with the refs and judges.

If OST was a high priority they would have gotten that too.

How do you know it wasn't a high priority? It was the same demand he asked for Taylor and Froch. And, they went through with it. So the priority was high enough. For them to keep demanding the same test. Maybe you should ask why Ward gave into the ref and judges demand but not the OST demand? Especially since he is so willing to do it right?

You have me at a loss there, because I don't remember OST being a huge issue during the buildup to the fight. I don't know enough about what happened to say whether or not Ward was acting hypocritically.

But in any case I give Ward the benefit of the doubt based on his history and his actions in and out of the ring....while you for some reason think it's ok to say that he is now "ducking" tests.

Maybe you know more about what went on behind the scenes than I do, and if so I'd like to hear it.

But otherwise we're going to have to agree to disagree on that.

I don't think Ward is hypocritical. And, I don't think Ward is ducking anything. I do think and believe the FANS are the hypocritical ones. Cuz' they choose to ignore some stuff that happened. And, then make excuses.

The word "ducking" came into play by Wess, not me, after so I just ran with it.

Do I believe Ward is juicing? I believe he could be juicing just as much as any fighter out there. Does that mean I Hate Ward or American fighters? No. I believe Pac could be juicing and I'm a Pacquiao guy.

It's the era that we are living in right now. This very well could be boxing PED era. From everything I'm gathering the more I read the more info I get. PED's is running rampant in the sport. It is what it is.

Saying that you're all for better testing doesn't move me as it moves some other fans. Pacquaio said he was willing to do it back in 09' to later ask for 30 day cutoff. Saying it and doing it are 2 very different things.
