  • Comments Thread For: Chavez DUI Case Pushed Back, Manager Sees No Issues

WBC middleweight champion Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. will possibly have to appear in court next month. He was scheduled to appear on Friday at Los Angeles Superior Court - to answer several charges related to a recent DUI arrest, but the case was adjourned to April 20th. Earlier this month, Chavez was officially charged with three misdemeanors by the Los Angeles City Attorney - two charges for drunk driving and one for driving without a valid license.

        I told you so.

JCC JR calls the shots. If he wants to drive drunk, there's nothing the state of CA can do about it.

They are not dismissing this. I'll bet that the State of California and the City of L.A. dig deep into Baby's pockets, that way they stop the party. Baby Chavez is a cash cow all the way around and California and L.A. are hard up now, so he will pay, or do time, maybe both. The law is hard on drunk driving and rightfully so.
