    Don't worry about it, bud.

I've got my rose tinted glasses on, and appreciate you throwing Pea and Manos in the mix.

I'm not going to give you shit over fantasy fights, and forgetting people.

    Great thread.

First of all lets not compare Mosley resume/LW reign to Duran. Don't even put it in the same sentence. And, if you think there are in any comparable then this convo is done here.

Didn't call his resume weak. I think he could be in the top 25 ATG at LW. Which is a historic division. What I said is that he is arguably one of the most overrated fighters. Because, people always talk about him as a beast, even insinuate that he was somewhat unbeatable. How so? Who did he fight? Duran beat HOF'ers in that weight-class, Duran dominated that weight-class for a decade, Duran cleaned out the division. Mosley didn't even fight the best LW in the division at the time in Stevie Johnston. And, I'm not positive Mosley could have won that fight. I would favor Mosley. But, I would have given "Lil but bad" had a great chance of beating him.

I don't see how Oscar, Pac, JCC, JMM, or Mosley beats Duran. I can see Whitaker beaten him. Floyd always has a chance. No one can say he doesn't. He is a very special talent. But, the only guy I could see beaten Duran out of the guys listed is Whitaker.

I don't see anyone on Duran's lightweight resume beating Chavez, Delahoya, or Mosley. For being probably the best lightweight, Duran's resume isn't that great.

Thanks man, it's a great division. Ever see any Ike Williams fights? I'd have loved to have seen him and Armstrong go at it. What beasts.

Well using that logic I don't see anyone in Mosley or Oscar resume at 135 beating Pac or JMM therefor that means what?

it means nothing, which is why I brought it up. Just because you say you can't see Duran losing to those guys doesn't make it so, especially since he had lost to a lesser fighter who was also a coke fiend.

I think Mosley vs Duran at 135 would have been a WAR.

Mosley's chin, hand speed, and power at that weight?

Whomever won, would have known they were in a fight.

Head to Head I'd take Mosley. He was weighing in around 150+ for his lightweight fights. With that speed and power and reach. That's a tall order for ANY lightweight. Which is why Johnston turned the fight down in '98.

It means nothing so you brought up a useless logic that holds no weight? Ok.

                      How about this one?

Manny vs Aaron Pryor at 140?
