Mosley (Too big, too fast and Dynamic for Mayweather who seemed to have trouble finding his footing at the weight with his injuries)
Whitaker (Too good of a fighter on the inside and outside for Pacquiao)
Oscar never fought at 126 as a pro. At 135 even though Oscar was a beast at that weight. Chavez was just overall the better skilled fighter. He breaks Oscar down.

Duran, could counterpunch just as good as JMM maybe even better and not only that could do it coming forward. Better inside fighter as well, better defense as well, more skilled even JMM greatly skilled. Duran was better, Duran also had power and JMM had been succeptable to knockdowns, never been KO. But, I see Duran winning a decision while dropping JMM a couple times on the way.

Mosley is arguably one of the most overrated fighters at 135. Great record on paper, great style when you saw him in the ring. But, who did you see him against? I think Floyd beats him.

Whitaker-Pacquiao is the easiest one to pick. Whitaker makes him look foolish.

Duran beats Chavez. Could do everything Chavez could do but better.

Floyd-Whitaker is a tough one stylistically wise. I never saw Floyd as an impressive LW. He got hit in this weight-class more so than any other weight-class that he has fought in. The 3 toughest fights he ever had were at this weight-class. Whitaker is just as good as a defender as Floyd and IMO better. But, even at the lower weights Whitaker punch output were better than Floyd. And, I think just cuz' of workrate with defense and ring generalship Whitaker would edge a decision.

Duran-Whitaker in the finals. That's an amazing fight. Not sure who would win. I ride with Duran. Because, I arguably he is the GOAT at that weight-class. But, I'm not confident in that pick.

So I IMO Duran wins it.

Out of all the names that were listed I think Whitaker is the only fighter that could have beaten Duran at 135.

Duran and Mayweather size each other up. The instructions are given. But before the special guest referee is done, he takes off his mask...

            OMG. IT'S HENRY ARMSTRONG!

Really? i think every fighter besides Pacquiao had a chance at Duran. You say Mosley had a weak resume, but Duran who is considered the best lightweight ever doesn't exactly have a list of killers on it either.

I wanted to include him terribly but I figured I'd keep it modern.

It depends on how you are looking at it. If you are talking abou the period that they were at LW then I would pick Pea. If you are talking about what you think they couldve been then I would pick Floyd because I think if he had stayed at the weight for a long period then he wouldve gotten better & better there. By time he left though, he wasnt the finish product at that weight.

Then again, I think he may have been the finish product by the N'Dou fight now that I think about it but it was only 1 fight so it isnt fair to put him over other guys because of that. If he had stayed longer though then he couldve put on 5 more pounds and been even better

Based on their performances at the weight is the only fair way to do this.
