    Of course a case can be made.

    Many people consider him to be that.

    Many don't.

    It's all a matter of opinion.

      You're wrong:
      Manny doesn't fight with people he fights with professional boxer inside the ring;
      Manny doesn't RUNS in and out; he moves laterally to find openings!

      He is a Fighter, as you can see in video, exchanging blows with his opponents!

        It's a matter of opinion if it is coming from one person or a few fans of the losing boxer. But if was a decision by an overwhelming majority of a respected group then it becomes a powerful consensus. And when this consensus comes from the Boxing Writers Association Of America, it puts the opinion of a disgruntled group of fans to where it properly belongs, in the trash bin.

              But Pac was always no1, as soon as he beat Barrera. If Floyd hasnt beat anyone as good as Pac he was never no1 and it was manufactured. The truth must be told. But it is the worst kept secret in the world in reality, just Pac fans are humble and not too vocal.
              Somebody please inform Ring Magazine that beating past prime Barrera is the criteria for being p4p king.

                Maybe because he is a cherry picker and finally now is stepping up which I applaud. He may prove everyone that he really is the best out there but he needs to step up with the cream and the crop of boxing... Manny, Margarito even when people say he is done he is still dangerous, I think Mayweather has been very smart and we know that. He is a coward in my book based on the fact that he waits until a fighter is either hurt or done in order to fight him out of his prime. I think in his early career he was great but later on it was all business to him and he was so careful people know and hated the fact and literally saw him as a duckling duck.

                Ahh I almost forgot.. even if Mayweather wins he will not get credit for it from us real boxing fans we know what he is doing we know he waited to fight a damaged Cotto and he plans to do the same with every fighter he is afraid off. That is why I dont like him and never will respect him as a boxer.

                  LMAO! Floyd was ring magazine p4p no1 between 2005 and 2008 when he retired. He was ESPN's p4p no1 between 2005 and 2008. He was Yahoo's p4p no1 between 2005-2008. He was even Rick Reeno's p4p no1 since 2005-2008.

                  Stop talking nonsense. Pac got no2 after the Morales fight. You know nothing about boxing. You haven't been watching the sport long enough.
