If Kirkland beats Molina he deserves his fight with Canelo. That's who he's been chasing and that's who he's been promised.Comment

and?? He hasn't fought at 154 since Feb of 2009. He's clearly a middleweight. He's 5'10 not some tiny guy. Now there are bigger MW's like the champs before him like Pavlik, Taylor & Hopkins were all 6'1. But 5'10 is pretty typical for the division and his body frame isn't a stretch for 160 in the least.
I'm sure he can make 154 just fine as well. I'm also sure he can make 168. It all comes down to what he's most comfortable at and how much weight he's cutting.
But to suggest he isn't a MW is silly. He's beat Pavlik, Williams, Dzinziruk, Barker & now fighting Macklin and he's clearly the best at the division at the moment. You can say he's a tad small for 160 if you'd like I guess, but he's proved he's a MW.Comment

Cool. I just hope the ginger gives him the fight he deserves. I don't know how many elimination fights Kirkland is going to have to win at first the winner of Kirkland-Angulo was to fight Canelo, then it turned into Kirkland-Molina, now apparently it's Kirkland-Molina winner vs Vanes. WBC being some hoes as usual.Comment

Kirkland will have as much luck getting Alvarez as Sergio has had for Chavez. Plus there's the whole top rank vs golden boy feud that will probably prevent Kirkkland vs Vanes. The WBC obviously knows this.Comment

At 154 the Pacman and Floyd beat Sergio.
All of a sudden people on here want to make it seem like Sergio is some small middleweight.
Sergio has already said in the past he can't make 154. But money talks and he will drain himself for the big names at 154.Comment
