how he lost to sum1 like baldomir is a deep mystery if u ask me...
It's sad how good Zab Judah could have been

most overrated boxer ever, he's fast and hits decent but that is all.
Tszyu KOed his ass
Spinks outboxed him
Lost to Baldobum
Mayweather beat his ass up
Cotto beat his ass up
and everyone since, I fail to see any world class talent in himComment

I think he did as well as he could have, winning two titles in two divisions then losing some.
I just don't see how he could have done much better with his chin problems at times.Comment

What's really sad is that the next time Judah gets a shot at someone decent, which will happen at some point, people will crawl out of the woodwork again saying the same things.
Key phrases:
"If he is good mentally"
"If his head is on right"
"So much talent"
"Win by KO, catch him with an uppercut"Comment

Judah's chin is what has kept him from being great, he needs to throw combinations, but he holds back simply because he gets really hurt when he gets caught flush.Comment

He had hand speed but I dont think his power was that great. At 140 it was decent but mostly because of his speed he could catch people. He was a bit too small for 147.
I mean keeping his actual skill set the same and just say if he had more dedication, a better chin and more heart, I still dont see him going much farther. He was fast but open to counters by anyone good enough to time him.Comment

Yeah those first 4 rounds get overrated. Floyd dropped a few because zab beat him to the punch with a faster jab but zab was staying very tight, through one punch at a time and as soon as floyd adjusted and started backing judah up forcing judah to open up more he had an easy night. He caught floyd off balance and floyds glove touched but he wasnt hurt. And people give the ref a hard time for not calling it but all 3 HBO guys including Roy didnt even know for sure if it touched or not and they had to use a different camera angle replay to actually find that it did touch. All the physical tools you could ask for, didn't have the boxing skills or mental aspects to go with it though.
Mayweather didn't really do anything in the first few rounds, he just let Zab do his thing while he watched what he was doing and figured him out quick. Was it Floyd that called him the 'front-runner'? Always starts fast, but fades away? Pretty much summed it up.Comment
