Prime Cotto makes it more competitive for the simple fact he didn't know what losing was. Still a WIDE UD for Floyd.

If this was PRIME COTTO vs FLOYD NOW would you feel different about the outcome?

Prime cotto would probably have gone for the knockout, but this cotto is probably just going to take his time and see what opportunities open up.
And Floyd would be more reluctant, because nobody had seen cotto's breaking point. We've seen it twice now though and Floyd knows exactly how much he can handle, and that he DOES have a breaking point.

don't get it twisted I'm for Cotto right now but as
a boxing fanatic I do admire the skills Floyd possesses
when he is in the ring.
Still have to go work Miguel now because he does have a chance
if he could hurt Floyd in the early rounds.
PRIME MIGUEL wins no questions asked.
I'd lean towards Cotto if he was in his prime. He does/did well against boxers and had just enough speed, power and boxing ability to probably beat Floyd.

Prime Miguel Cotto gets stopped, maybe sooner. That fearlessness would get him hit even more. Today, he'll slow his pace down when shots soak up on him. Or maybe Floyd is the first one to make him backpedal late, like Shane did to a prime Cotto.
I just don't see anything he has that deeply troubles Floyd. Good puncher, not a great puncher, doesn't have the size, I don't think he's stronger than Floyd, good boxer, not a better boxer than Floyd, good speed but outmanned in that department too and has/had leaky defense.

As a Miguel fan Ill say that Fearless Cotto would had a very good chance aganist FMJr.
Current Miguel, with his more calculated, more of a boxer, and a bit less agressive stand still have a good chance.
Miguel will bring the War, and you my friends will be surprised when he defeats Floyd!
