There's no doubt in my mind that Arum is good at what he does. He's a smart man and he's been in the business a long time; but graduating from Harvard doesn't make one infallible. Even if you hold Bob in such high regard, he doesn't work alone. It's not inconceivable that someone committed a simple oversight. It's not likely, but less likely things have happened. I'm extremely curious to see how this one plays out.

I dont who is in Gamboa's ear, but listening to Floyd on legal matters is ******ed considering his record in the courtroom. Floyd is going to jail in June

That's what happens when you take advice from an ignorant, 7th grade educated moron, "cough, cough, Mayweather, cough, cough"

well we shall see when this goes to court, won't mean anything if he never signed anything like he is claiming, clearly his Lawyer probably sees a Loop Hole in which he feels he can get Gamboa away from a BAD DEAL...if not then the Lawyer would not have taken the case

I wish I was an uneducated 7th grader and rich. I'm tired of being a HS grad and broke, that stuff sucks.

I do not hold Bob in high regard in terms of his promotional activities, however I his legal record speaks for itself and making sure that Gamboa was in a binding agreement is NOT a simple oversight. Bob probably pounded to whomever was dealing directly with Gamboa to make sure that Gamboa was legally tied to perform his duty as stipulated in an agreement. Having recorded a cash advance and Yuriorkis' desire to have a promotional conference in Miami is evidence to that.

Floyd said in a recent interview that if he fought Pac, he wanted all of the PPV revenue, because if something happened to him in the fight that ended his career, he wouldn't be able to to go Top Rank and ask them for money. It appears that Floyd has just played a part in ending Gamboa's career and loosing his biggest payday ever, so now will Floyd give Gamboa money is he ask for it?

This isn't going to end well. It looks like he won't be fighting in the ring for a long time. Now he will only be fighting in the court room this year which sucks for a lot of boxing fans.

My point is stay in your area, don't give advice in areas you know nothing of. Translation Mayweather stick to boxing and stay out of law! Plus, don't worry 10yrs from now Mayweather will be just as broke as you are. One more fact if your tired of being broke go to college, college grads make 1.4million more in their lifetime than a hs grad.

I would not be suprised if Haymen, Mayweather have just done this to cause Arum problems. They don't give a **** about Gamboa and if they ruin his career. Who the hell would want to sign with a fictional promotional company in the first place. If you recall Mayweather was thrown out of his so-called promotional companies office last year for not paying rent.
