I told Kim to stop being biased once and got blocked right after that. He is one of he most biased writers i have read.
Steve Kim and Boxing is About Business

Typical. In my experience talking with them, they'll rationalize every and anything boxing, except for Floyd and the moves he's made. I remember after May-Manny fell apasrt the first time, and Manny fought Clottey, dude tells me "Clottey fight was jut there to be made, it's business." Then Floyd fights Shane and it was "Shane started camp for Berto then stopped, and has been inactive. Floyd just picked the right time that's the only reason he'd fight him now."Its not just Steve Kim it's Montoya too. I listen to their podcast after the Cotto/Marg fight and you hear Montoya and Kim praising TR's "rehab" of Cotto and how they would even like to see this version in there with Manny. I forgot which one it was where they cover the Mayweather/Cotto press conference/fight announcement and they are saying Cotto is washed up and done, that he is being just served up to Mayweather. **** both those b*tches, its incredibly sad how obvious Arum is the one signing the checks.
After a while, I came to the conclusion they're trolling Floyd supporters and fans, trying to build their names. Controversy sales, right?! Taking a page right out of Floyd's book.Comment

I am not claiming Gamboa is in the right or in the wrong because I don't know. One thing I know though is that promoters in general have screwed boxers way more than boxers have screwed promoters. That's a fact!
As far as Yuri , everybody is saying he had a contract and yet nobody knows. Even TR is saying that they have received some emails from his group. What's in the emails nobody knows. Yuri is innocent until proven guilty. TR has been known to mess with fighters's finances. Why do you think Pavlik pulled out of his last fight with TR? Because he didn't have a contract and they wanted to pay him 50k. He pulled out like 2,3 weeks before the fight. Not a month and half before it. This is not a rocket science.Comment

I'm not a lawyer but Yuri did agree to everything in PRINCIPLE. That is a binding contract same thing with a verbal agreement. He did take 70k under the premise he was going to fight Rios, he said now he isn't going to fight Rios so that right there he lost, period. Whether he got bad advice or not he ****ed himself, innocent until proven guilty... he proved he is guilty he no showed a press conference.I am not claiming Gamboa is in the right or in the wrong because I don't know. Top Rank is so greedy and such TERRIBLE business people they decide to have HBO plug the fight, reserve a venue in Las Vegas, set up press conferences and all to just make Yuri look bad? The guy can't draw **** to flies and was set to make $1 million. Look what happened with Pavlik, enough said.Comment

Gamboa commented on the Rios fight when it was announced saying that he looked forward to the challenge. He also took money upfront.I am not claiming Gamboa is in the right or in the wrong because I don't know. He does come through with breaking news etc
but he always talk about "good" business which, yes, is important but damn its annoying.
He also seems to have something against "skilled" boxers which I assume to be defensive, technical fighters and everytime there's an entertaining brawl he ****s all over those types.
Also, regarding "important" fights he always ****s on them because apparently "money" fights are the only thing worth anything in boxing. when the top fighters fight and its not such a big turnout he immediately starts talking crap, it gets annoying. and apparently only popular big money making fighters are allowed to fight.
Other than that he knows his **** and has some pretty good insight on boxing.Comment
