I was thinking about this bout for some time and i think its possible this year or early 2013. Why? Well from what i read Anselmo has signed a 4 fight deal with GBP and including his debut and following match will have been under Abners undercard/co feature. Now, Abner is returning to 122 and from what i read so is Anselmo. Perhaps GBP is setting up a showdown between the both of them at 122 before Anselmo's contract is up. In a recent interview with Koncrete Jungle Abner stated he wanted to fight 3 times this year...sooo im on going on a limb here and i'm pretty high on the thought of the match being made sometime soon. Not only would it be great for both fighters but being realistic...it would take a miracle for Nonito vs Abner or Rigo vs Abner do to Top Rank vs GBP. Thoughts? Who would win? Would Moreno's skill and technicality help him cruise through 122? Would Abner become the star that GBP thinks he can be? Regardless of the outcome this match would be the cherry on top for both careers thus far.

It's a fight that's got to happen. It just has to.
They're the two best Bantamweights in the world and they're under the same promotional banner.
Seems likely the fight will happen at 122, if it happens.
It also seems to me that GBP are siding with Mares in this. And have more faith in him. I think they would prefer him to win the fight. They know Moreno is a big threat, that's why the fight hasn't been made yet.
I think it will happen down the line and I think Moreno will win but it'll be a good fight. -
i'm biased because Abner is my current favorite boxer but i think Anselmo is too damn slick. The way he goes about is just amazing to me. The thing i like about GBP is they tend to make good fights and try pitting the best against each other(except canelo
). I think they were waiting for Abner to move up because he might be more comfortable at 122 then Moreno. Oh and yeah... i see them leaning towards Abner too...i Just hope they realize Moreno has tons of potential. I can't wait for this to happen if ever :wank:
