you're kidding me right? I bet you didn't even know there was a term as a hardship fight until I taught you it. Judges usually will grant it if and only if the fighter shows a depletion of funds to where his livelihood is compromised. It's not a guarantee as there have been much smaller cases where fighters are denied that fight I just used two of the more prominent cases

tell me Einstein how does that process take? court cases get locked up in courtrooms for years sometimes

my guess is that TR will go forward with their suit, Gamboa will try and be defiant, in the end they will realize they have no case and try and settle.

Im guessing that Gamboa's lawyers know what they are doing, and since we don't really know the exact terms of his contract(s), nor the entire facts and circumstances, we'll just have to wait and see where this goes. . . Maybe they saw something in the contracts whereby they can get him out, and fighting soon. . . Just don't know. . .

Well, It's Gamboa who is the defendant in this case and his lawyers might not neccessarily "know what they're doing" . Except.... that they are likely going through the lawyer-routine, to show they're doing something and to boost up fee-ed hours. That's their first concern as you know. Then they'll be sifting potential evidence, and looking for affidavits etc, none of which they really need, just to bulk up the file, and putting Gamboa through the hoops, making every little item look of major importance, eventually to seek a resolution out of court based on whatever deal they can make, and collect a fee which they already have an educated idea on. I'd think that it would be a 95% bet.
