HBO has officially canceled #boxing for April 14, which means no Rios-Gamboa. But @trboxing says Rios will still fight somebody.

Might as well cut the losses save the money for a bigger fight later in the year.

BTW, HBO hasn't put that many shows out there. They will have a good amount of money from their budget to make lots of great fights in the 2nd half of the year.
I agree about HBO, they have an image, but as a fan I would rather have any fights on than no fights on.

Gamboa made his bed and he is gonna have to lay in it. Unless he has a showtime deal waiting this looks to be a bad move.

I guess the writing was on the wall this whole time. Still I was hoping Gamboa would come around.

All HBO has is MW and Pac (except the Mosley clash that was Sho)... The network's boxing coverage has become super 1 dimensional. They better put something on for some of us to watch. Sho been kickin Hbo's ass!

So for you ppl hating on Gamboa's, he have to get *** by Ohner, Arum and Gonzalez? He is defending himself just the same way Hopkins did 100 years ago, just like Fraud did a few years back, why the hate and the ban? You know what you are some kind of fans...

Good. I pay good money to get HBO and i am a boxing fan that doesnt want to watch crap fights on a channel i am paying for. Arum andTop Rank knew that Gamboa wasnt going to do the fight before this all went down. Only a fool would think Gamboa all of the sudden decided to bail. TR tried to strong arm him and it didint work. Tried to set-up fake argument and fight for publicity and HBO didnt buy into it. Good for them.
