HBO has officially canceled #boxing for April 14, which means no Rios-Gamboa. But @trboxing says Rios will still fight somebody.

I was just about to post this

This really sucks, I was looking forward to the fight. Hopefully it'll happen in a month or two though, maybe Gamboa could take a tune up at the weight?

F'ing Gamboa HBO should ban him for at least a year. Let him go fight on independent PPV's. ESPN, none TV fights.

Good job on HBO props to them for not accepting just anything. Ken Hershman, is going to be great for HBO. Stephen Espinoza and Showtime should take notes.

Top Rank should have offered a better opponent *cough* Alvarado *cough*

The question now is, is Mandalay Bay still the site to host Rios fight?

The only guy I really feel bad for is Rios.

                NOOOOOOOOOOO!

                Dear HBO,

Go on with the show. Fill in with the undercard, fill in with replacements, we will still watch, we want to watch boxing!

I hope HBO bans him for life!

Next broadcast for Gamboa's future fights: Shobox and ESPN FNF.

No, HBO shouldn't waste their boxing budget on crap.

Might as well cut the losses save the money for a bigger fight later in the year.

BTW, HBO hasn't put that many shows out there. They will have a good amount of money from their budget to make lots of great fights in the 2nd half of the year.
