    Gamboa/Rios vs Pacquiao or Mayweather/Martinez

Title pretty much speaks for itself... People r calling Gamboa a bitch for not fighting Rios, taking into mind he's moving up 2 weight classes to fight at a weight he's never fought at before against one of the weight class' biggest punchers...

Pacquiao and Mayweather never fell short of protectors when they both refused a Martinez fight. Martinez was willing to drop down to 154, maybe even 150... Where both fighters have fought before, and were belt holders at...

One is still basically a prospect (not really, but u get the point), while the others r the 2 top p4p fighters, interchangeable depending on who u talk to...

    Gimme ur thought...

Your pathetic, bias cry-baby thoughts... :smh:

I'm sorry, when did Pacquiao or Mayweather call Martinez out and then agree to fight him, and then not show up to the first press conference, catching everyone by surprise?

well I think the Gamboa-Rios stuff is pure crap and he's getting much too hard of a rap but this argument doesnt hold up. If youre going to make an argument for Gamboa, please dont use the 2 guys in boxing who have moved up more than anyone as your examples.

Floyd has fought in 5 divisons and Pac even more. Those are the last 2 guys you should rip for that. Theyve also been the much smaller man in the ring for alot of there fights, coming into the ring at the weight limit, a lil under, or barely over in a bunch of there fights.

Floyd just did it again with Ortiz, coming in at 150 while Ortiz was 165. They are not punks for not moving up. Also, I dont think the Martinez fight is out the question if Floyd wins and feels comfortable at 154 vs Sergio. BTW, Gamboa is 30 so the prospect thing is out the window

I have tickets for this fight. I'm hoping Top Rank let us know who BamBam is fighting earlier rather than later. Gamboa has mad skills and has gotten Mad props for taking the risk of fighting Rios at 135. That said the same level of kudos Yuri got for taking this fight he will lose n some if he doesn't show up for this fight or allow the fans and Rios the oppurtunity to deal with him not fighting sooner rather than later.

Hasn't competed in any big fights, or beaten anyone particularly great... And to be honest, the jury is still out on whether or not he truly has what it takes... And it ain't like he doesn't have any of these kinds of opponents in or around his weight class to do it, he just hasn't done it yet...

Floyd and Manny r multiple division champions, top 2 p4p, and not only have wins over world-class opposition, but have dominant, one-sided wins over them

I like Gamboa a lot but that's not what people are mad about..
They're mad about him signing for a fight and not following through with it, not only that but leaving his fans hanging at two press conferences.
