At this point and time if you compare Floyd's career to the greats you have to rank him in the Top 5 and it's not crazy to say he's #2 if he finishes with a win over Martinez. Floyd has beaten every worthy fighter (that would fight him) that was put in front of him. Leonard, Hagler, Hearns and Duran had each other and other great fighters but based on their era Floyd has fought everyone he could. Manny Pacquiao is clearly the reason they haven't and never will fight. It's very clear to see his cowardice in his unwillingness to fight Cotto at his best. How can you even ask a champion fighting in your same current division to fight at a catch-wt?
Manny doesn't want any part of Cotto also because he would have no excuse for Martinez if he fought Cotto @ 150. You have Floyd, Martinez, Cotto, Berto, Marquez and Ortiz calling him out and he chooses what he views as the smaller, lighter punching challenger (Bradley). Clearly Manny is afraid of Floyd. Nothing but excuses since Marquez 3 (which most feel he loss).
