Juanma gained my respect for this fight, he fought with heart, courage and showed he's a real warrior. Then came the interview and he threw it all away. He really went out like a b.itch and has no class.
Julio Cesar Chavez Jr was guilty for driving under the influence. What has the WBC done?

I lost all respect for Juanma.

After the 2nd round, I thought to myself, Juanma is not going to win here. He was throwing punches just to keep Salido away.

You really want to compare those two incidents?

OK lets see, one was outside the ring and had nothing to do with boxing, the other was a blatant disrespect and accusation of the WBO implicated in cheating and ********.

        Suspension

WOW! What a joke! this is ridiculous, i cant belive they actually suspended him! Nobodys perfect, and he actually apologize and gave an explanation. Give the man a break, clean out your closet before you find dirt for someone elses. A small fine woulda been just fine, if i was juan ma, i would take the apology back and persue with what i said. Understand that he was emotional, a fight of that magnitude in your hometown and he was drained and disoriented. Completely UNNECESSARY!

I don't agree with the suspension for a year a little too much when worst have been done in the past and have gone unpunished but on the other hand this may be a good thing for Juanma he needs to rest after this war and a year with a forced vacation may not be a bad thing after all he needs the time to review his camp make some changes go to charm school "LOL" and come back fresh next year.

No he did not apologize. The apology was written by someone named, Rivera, who admitted this to referee, Ramirez, which just adds to JML unprofessional behavior. I agree the punishment is ridiculous. I think that it's fair for a six month suspension but not a year. In any case they should suspend the all three judges since their intentions are clear. If the WBO wants to clean up its reputation by banning JML, then they have to come after all three judges. Otherwise we can consider this a make up job to cover up something even bigger. Boxers have to be more selective about which title (organization) they fight for and who they represent. Make yourself heard! Don't accept this bogus titles like the diamond belt and the super champion etc. Why pay these organizations sanctioning fees when they don't make them selves prestigious and worth fighting for.

the judges should be the first to get banned in my opinion. they were gonna give juanma a hometown decision and in this day and age its pathetic. you cant be scoring fights because you favour 1 of the fighters.

I called it here before the fight and was insulted for doing so. I said there's no way they are letting Salido walk into PR and get a decision, no effin way.

Those judges should be fined, suspended or both. That was a disgrace because IMO the fight wasn't that close, Saildo was beating the breaks of Juanma.

Nah that's bullshlt. The guy just got KTFO he should have been in a hospital, not being interviewed through a translator not 10 minutes after being KO'd.

And now they want him to beg and grovel??? That's f***ed up.

Looks like they are saying he has to either show proof of the ********, or get on a world wide forum and apologize PERSONALLY to the ref.....or face suspension for a year. Either way, he was wrong for what he said. It's just ****** to use getting his ass whooped as excuse for him to slander the ref. Plenty of fighters get KO'd and don't accuse the ref of ********...he might as well said "this ref is crooked - he's a pedofile." As for the scoring.....I honestly think it was a close fight (Salido ahead) up until the KO....JuanMa dropped him and I'm pretty sure JuanMa was given the first 2-3 rounds anyway. I think they were gonna make it a draw.
