I know Lederman's word isn't the gospel, but I think you guys should re-watch the Quartey-Forrest fight.

At most, Forrest won 2 rounds out of 10. If that's not a blatant robbery, I'm not sure what is.

I think it's one of those things where the fight was quite forgettable. IMO.

How long ago was that fight now? Seems like such a long time that Forrest sadly passed away. God bless his soul.

Was it 05 or 06? Can't even remember. Was a long time ago, though.

I wouldn't say the rounds were all out clear aswell which is another reason people forget. I myself thought it was close and could have gone either way at first watch.

But, I did watch it more recently and I agree with you Quartey won the fight.

Quartey won that fight against Forrest, even Vernon knew it when he came back to his corner after the final bell, looks dejected.

          Quartey-Forrest.

Hatton-Collazo wasn't a robbery and while Whitaker got badly robbed he at least got a draw verdict.

The judges actually said Forrest beat Quartey.

I was at the Quartey Forrest fight and there is no doubt in my mind that Quartey won that fight. I remember starting the bs chant which ended up spreading throughout the crowd lol.

Good point. I think some people either forgot about the Forrest-Quartey fight or never watch it.

Regarding the Hatton-Collazo fight, did you get a chance to rewatch it?

Personally, I think Collazo was robbed, but some feel that it was a close fight.

Besides the knockdown in the 1st round that wasn't even a knockdown, I feel that Collazo controlled the fight hands down.

                What do you think?

I've only ever watched that fight once when it was live and I thought it was a close fight that could have gone either way.

So I'll have to give that another watch when I have time.

I think Collazo did the cleaner better work. His strength was a key.

At the time I thought Hatton would win easier than he did but I knew Collazo would give him problems.

People tend to hold that against him, the Collazo tough fight or "loss" of whatever. I don't see why.

Because he was *****ing for the longest time about how he could barely make 140 anymore and how hard it was (when it really was a lack of discipline) and talking about how much stronger he would be at 147 with not having to drain himself, then he got up there, got a gift decision and went back to 140. It is clear he isnt a good fighter because he depends on a size advantage on his opponent and when that is gone and when the ref doesnt allow him to hold, he is garbage.
