Haye tried to antagonize the Klitschkos so much, but when he and Wlad got into the ring, he was rendered useless. Haye just wants to take advantage of Vitali's age, and he said it multiple times during the Vitali/Chisora fight. I think he catches another L. Haye will once again talk a big game, go into the ring, embarrass himself, and hopefully he'll go back to retirement.

Forget the rest thats the reason right there why people like you don't want the fight, Haye might win. LOL

No, I hate the fact that he makes it so obvious that he's fighting to take advantage of someone else's disadvantage. If Vitali loses, so be it. Why? because that means Haye had to earn the win. Vitali won't just go down easy. But, Haye shouldn't be allowed to just walk back in and fight the top guy. I'm sure you'll criticize that last sentence lol. If anybody's a fan of one of these guys, it's you, cuz I'm not a big fan of any HW.

I have largely ignored the most of these posts as I deem them coming from part-time boxing fans who only tune in to watch ‘blockbuster’ boxing whenever it is on.

Also, like your post, these uninformed posts always fail to mention a recent better performance than Haye’s.
As a genuine boxing fan, I have watched without fail every of Wladimir’s fights in the last 4 years and I can say categorically that Haye’s performance was by a mile the best of the lot. The trouble is that no one really lands a meaningful blow on Wladimir – he has perfected the art of ‘hit and don’t get hit’.

You only need to compare Wladimirs face after the Haye fight to any of his other post fight face in previous fights and you know that he’d been in a fight.

Anyone who is not familiar with boxing and did not watch Haye vs Wladimir would think Haye was KO’d in one.

Admittedly, some of the pre-fight hype was distasteful (especially the t-shirt business) but love or loathe the hype, it was the reason heavyweight boxing received a boost in recent times and made a certain Mr Haye a good fortune ( I hope you are half as successful as Haye in your chosen field but you’ll have to better than this article).

The fact that Haye gave away over 4 inches in height and almost 30lbs in weight puts his performance even in better perspective. More so, when you consider a certain Mr Pacquiao, regarded by many as the ‘pound-for-pound’ king will not agree to give Cotto a 2lb advantage. Even Wladimir conceded that he fought someone who was not really heavy – in other words he fought someone who may be regarded as a cruiserweight.

Finally, a few experts including the guys at GBP wanted Haye to fight Vitali and not Wladimir as they opined that this would be a better match up because of Haye’s speed and hopefully this fight would come to fruition and it will be another glorious night for boxing.
He didn't get knocked out because he ran away the entire fight, trying to jump on the inside here and there unsuccessfully due to Wladimir's superior jab. His face after the fight tells the true story about whether he could get to Wlad or was stopped by his left hand for 12 rounds. He didn't perform much better than Ibragimov and didn't bring Wladimir close to a knockdown one single time. The post-fight toe excuse adds the finals touch to his unclassiness. Haye hasn't done anything impressive at heavyweight and is too much of a diva to think he needs to earn himself a title shot by fighting one or two contenders, he thinks he should get one right away after almost a year of doing nothing because he's something special. No way he deserves it right now.

Great post a bit long but it gets to the point hayes performance wasn't bad it was dictated by the way wladimir fought he didnt give haye a look in and that's because he was the bigger and the better fighter all around.

I like your comparison of the weights at end as well puts it into perspective what these heavy's are up against these days when your a heavyweight and your being outweighed but 20-30 pounds you've got an uphill task from the word go and the way wladimir leans on his opponents imagine putting 2-3 stone on your shoulders getting pushed down by another 15-16 stone see how many people can stay standing.

What a loser Haye is he didn't stand infront of Wlad and get punched until he fell over. Why did Wlad grab Haye everytime Haye tried to get inside? Maybe it was because he was scared of getting hit? Isn't that fighting like a ***** too?

Apparently the state of boxing heavyweight writing is also on the slip. I think even Ronnie Nathanielsz isn't as lame. This was one opinionated, biased (i mean full of cognitive biases...) and whining piece.

That's what a fighter with superior height and reach has to do, grab your opponent before he can attack you inside where you have the disadvantage. It was Hayes job to find a way around that problem, he couldn't make it. Guess who won the fight?

What an absolute donkey the last time i checked slipping and dodging punches were what boxing is about you wont be used to that though watching the klitschko's fight fat bums with no movement.

You klitschkos fans are what is destroying heavyweight boxing happy seeing fights like mormeck and ademek when haye fought Audley did you see the stick he got from his own fans yet wladimir goes out and fights mormeck a cruiser weight and nothing gets said and his fans are happy and thrilled that fight was a disgrace to boxing more then the David haye vs Audley Harrison fight as at least Harrison was a heavyweight i think he actually landed more punches then mormeck as well oh and Harrison was the European champion as well.
