For me it was a disappointing fight. Lots of wild swinging. It looked as if Lopez was susceptible from the beginning, couldn't do much on the retreat, and seemed to freeze when hit. His defence wasn't good enough, too much "shoulder-rolling "..... Also he was rather slow. I was surprised that Saledo was stronger than Lopez and when he was hit hard seemed to be knocked back off balance rather than affected by the punch.

I believe that if they had fought, Gamboa would have beaten Lopez badly, I don't see what all the fans were raving about that fight not being made. This was the first time I've seen Lopez for a couple of years, and his punch resistance is not good. Trinidad must have been depressed.

          Official score cards:
          85-85
          86-84 Lopez
          86-84 Lopez
That goes to show that uncle Arum had set up a robbery, PR referee and 2 PR judges

As far as the judges scores? Just some good ol' home cooking.

Lopez is clearly in denial. And probably done. Dude will never be able to take a punch again.
He seemed reluctant to throw a punch from the sound of the first bell... Then more excuses after he was nearly knocked out. The ref saved him from being seriously ko'ed... I kind of wished the ref would have let it happen now.

Salido is the freaking man!!! Overcoming considerable odds twice.... both times doing it in spectacular fashion by stopping this asswipe who still refuses to give props where it is due.
