So where do you rank ODH?

Pea unified at 35; Pac beat David Diaz.

Pac beat Hatton while Pea beat Pineda. Neither stayed long. Edge Pac there in terms of resume.

At 47, Pea kills him. McGirt twice (and Buddy was better by leaps and bounds than anyone Pac has fought at Welter) and a catchweight defense over Chavez win it. he started to lag on the back end of his reign (starting around 96) but from 93-95, he was smoking.

At 54, Vazquez was on a big roll with wins over Castillejo and Wright. Pac beat Marg at a Catch. Advantage Pea.

Pac has a bunch of other classes to his credit though. He had a strong run at 30 but also a loss to Morales. At 26, he beat Barrera and drew with Marquez. Ledwaba was a good win at 22 but he didn't do anything else there and, while the title is nice at 112, he wasn't really very good yet. he won that on raw talent and a hammer in his hands.

In terms of raw, on paper, resume by names, they aren't miles apart but Whitaker not losing more than a handful of rounds for close to a decade, against steady and strong opposition, has to weigh in as well. he also had a the sort of rough shod divisional clean out Pac has never had.

The opinion there that Whitaker should be seen as a heavy favorite to box Pac's ears off counts too (for me). I'd favor Pea.
another point to make is it is easy to forget that MP's run (specially at 126 & 130) he faced his 3 best contemporaries multiple times! and the quality of the names of those three are IMO slightly better than mc girt or ramirez or haugen...

is beating azumah nelson much better than knocking out barrera?

the question is difficult to answer with enough conviction... im just trying to make some interesting points...

LOL is this a serious question considering Pac has probably a top ten all time resume?

Even with that sweet pea still has a better resume.
Even though I respect Whittaker a ton, he is nowhere in the same galaxy resume-wise.

Please list his top ten wins and I will list Pacquiao's and we will debate.

            In no special oprder:

            1)Lehlo Ledwaba
            2)Marco Antonio Barrera x2
            3)Juan Manuel Marquez x2
            4)Erik Morales x2
            5)Jorge Solis
            6)Oscar De La Hoya
            7)Ricky Hatton
            8)Miguel Cotto
            9)Antonio Margarito
            10)Shane Mosley

              LOL@ this thread.

              Its like desperation manifested.

Sweet Pea became the best by winning.

Pacquiao became the best because the boxing writers association needed someone to write about once Mayweather became inactive for 2008.

              Puh-leez.

Lol, his resume sucks? Nelson was a beast who hadn't lost in 8 years. Vasquez had been knocking out middleweights and was avoided at 154. And lets touch on the Chavez fight where Pea schooled him only to be robbed by a shady DK style decision. He arguably beat Oscar and went the distance with Tito while being past prime and whiffing lines daily. The boxrec analysis and biased hatred don't work with people who know what they're talking about, sorry.

His resume is only top 10 if you don't know boxing history. You clearly don't.

The better way to judge and see who is better is to watch carefully their styles of fighting. Watch both videos below and decide.

This one is Pernell vs. Mcgirth l.
