Wrong. When I used to write, a good friend of mine, a white guy and another writer, was damn near a Merchant groupie.

We were in press row for Pavlik-Martinez in AC and during the undercard, Merchant walks by on my right. Dude screams, "Larry! Larry!" Merchant stops, looking like 'who's this azzhole' and my dude stands up, grabs his hand over my head, and tells him how great he thinks he is and starts saying some of Larry's old quotes.

It was ridiculous. The funniest part was Larry just cut his eyes and walked awy like 'yeah whatever.'

i like merchant, he's right about certain things and it's fun to listen to his drivel. but i ain't picking a commentator over a fighter, that's just well... something else. that guy is on hugh grant level of ******ity.
