I think most of the hate started right after Floyd lost to Castillo and got the steal. Merchant IMO was respectful to Floyd before that interview where Floyd got really ****y when Merchant told him HBO does not do commercials. Plus started crying about his shoulder having a bubu and that's why he could not perform they way he wanted to. I think that day marked the beggining of the Love/Hate relationship between em'. They are like a man(Merchant) and the wife(Floyd) wife always complaning she does not get enough credit for all the work she does. Then runs off to her girlfriends to defend her... Listened to the first couple and stopped because I didn't hear anything particularly negative. They were casual observations. That's just how Merchant talks. I know he's gone overboard in fights like Baldo but how saying Floyd looks to play defense is somehow an awful dig is beyond me.

its just like i said in the thread a few days ago, if uve followed floyds career and watched all of his hbo fights, its blatantly obvious merchant hates watching floyd fight. so when ppl come on here and claim it doesnt exist, all that tells me is they have no idea wtf they are talking about.
