Floyd too physical? Khan is bigger than Floyd... and he's also still growing.. Floyd doesn't usually try to out physical his opponents unless they are already smaller than him or the same size, anybody bigger than him he usually just outboxes them, but I suspect Khan may be a little to fast for that, you guys have to take into account that Floyd is 35 now, that's far out from the prime age range, If he was still 28 Khan wouldn't have a chance but he's closer to 40 now... all the greats began to diminish at 35 from Jordan to Roy Jones..

However like Hopkins when fighting someone like Calzaghe who throws a lot of "punches" per round, he can be out worked.

I believe before Mayweather retires he will be beaten to the extent of Hopkins. It will be a close fight but the other guy will win because he is more active and possibly younger. I don't see this happening any time soon but I see it before Floyd retires. Nobody right now below 154 beats Floyd.... Besides Floyd won't be fighting Khan now. Khan lost his chance by losing to Peterson. So it doesn't even matter.
I say this because it sounds like from what I've been hearing out of Floyds mouth that he plans on fighting beyond 2012 which would mean beyond 35, the soonest a Khan / Floyd fight could happen would be 2013 so thats why I say at that point Khan would be more than capable of giving Floyd a run for his money...you just said you think Floyd will lose to a young more active guy, well that guy in all likelyhood is Khan, taller, bigger, younger, quicker, and stronger(2013)...Thats why I hope Floyd retires this yr after putting a few more touches on his HOF legacy because I don't want him to go out like that, I'd rather see him retire gracefully rather than see Khan running around acting like he beat a prime Floyd vs an old Floyd.. it's his choice though

1st off Khan cannot beat mayweather and no this is not the right time for him to fight mayweather because he is 35 - Mayweather lives on the inside, and he is too accurate and makes between round adjustments! Mayweather is supremely conditioned, he trains everyday! fight or no fight, he just steps up his training when there is a fight on schedule- that is his secret - he was training in PR and New York. Cotto is not going to bully mayweather, ask mosley that was his strategy, you can say mosley is or was shot, but that has nothing to do with his strength. Khans footwork sucks, when he moves to avoid punches it looks like he's running, and roach even admitted that his offense is his defense (that is what people do not get about roach, he does not teach or preach defense) and he does not know how to relax nor take a breather in the round - Cotto is well seasones and can do such.

Khan: Put Or Shut Up Diva!

Xmas came early for Khan. Prove it was a fluke, and move on with a decisive "W", or go back and fight the Zab Judahs on ESPN.

This time Khan will approach the fight with a different tactics. He will be the power puncher with bad intentions for each and every punch that he throws with a special focus on the body punches.

That's what's going on the training camp. I don't think Lamont will fancy that tactic as Peterson's success was when Khan was back pedaling.

Khan was winning the fight when he was marching forward or stood his ground in the middle of the ring, he should do the same in the May fight.

I think Khan will KO Lamont this time , don't be surprised if that happens.

You heard it from me first..

Funny cause I thought Peterson did an interview with I forgot who after the fight and I could've sworn he told them the pushing didn't bother him and didn't know why the points were taken but now he goes saying he should've been DQ'ed.

Yeah you would be right but like my homie Rome has been saying in previous threads Hunter and co (including Peterson in the build up) will ensure the ref knows about it. Hence why Peterson changed his tune in this interview
