i can see that argument but i disagree with you. i thought the Knockdown Khan got on Peterson was clearly a slip and so we are just complaining about the refs rulings. When in favor of Khan, the ref was correct. When not in favor of Khan, the ref is an idiot. That logic is hard to swallow. Peterson was able to adjust to Khan style and made the Brit look afraid to engage and confused for quite a few rounds. Khan had his moments no doubt, as he is a world class fighter, however Peterson just looked in Control and the one making the fight.

What is Roach going to do different this time that will improve Khan? Even a green fighter like Broner said Khan fights like an amateur..

At least everyone now understands that Khan is not on Mayweather's level. Maybe Khan says he will be ready for Mayweather in about 10 years....

I'm pulling for peterson in this one but I can't see it going to him if its close this time around. Khan will get it if its close. Peterson better step his game up even more. Train like you already lost the fight the first time and have something to prove this time.

Khan is no "World class" fighter, but he is a good fighter. Anyone who gets knocked out in 54 sec's against a C class fighter and at 25 still fights exactly like he did when he was an amateur kid in the Olympics isn't qualified to be labeled world class material...

Everyone talks the deduction, what about the bogus KD???Without that Khan does not clearly win...It was a close fight that I scored a draw, but the night of the fight I had Peterson winning the fight by a point..There was not a clear winner in this fight,sorry...

It's hard for me to say this, but technically "no" Khan is not in Mayweather's class but Floyd is 35 now, and Khan is 25 and prime and much taller and longer and throws a lot more than Floyd, style wise a horrible match up for Floyd at this stage in his career, so at this point I'd have to say Khan would give Floyd a run for his money, I just hate the way Khan always has Floyd's name in his mouth. Floyd isn't 25 anymore, it's like young Khan calling out an old man.. in all seriousness, as a big Floyd fan, Floyd should really retire at the end of the year or maybe have one more fight before 36, there's really nothing left for him to prove at this point and father time catches up with the best of em..

I think Kahn IS the better fighter, but not the better man. Khan has two gears..try to overwhelm..or retreat when that doesn't work. Kahn is a pretty dirty fighter himself though so it depends on how much they let him get away with. He'll start whining if he's not allowed to full out push someone with both hands school yard-pre fight style or hold the head, etc. Kahn, realistically..SHOULD be able to stop Peterson, we saw he could hurt him..

Kahn needs someone like Mayweather in his life to instill some confidence in his skills because I do believe the talent is there but he has no idea what to do when going backwards... Roach's fighters seem to all kind of wither when they can't overwhelm the opponent. Ironically, Chavez jr is probably the toughest fighter there...

Floyd would be to physical for Khan, that would be a one sided beat down...But I agree, floyd. Should retire at yrs end or fight Martinez as his going out fight...Win or lose that's one hell of a way to go out imo..It also would make me put Floyd in the top 15 ATG easy, which I really want to do,but just can't just yet...

Khan would be completely embarrassed by Floyd. Like Hopkins, his style will allow him to last a lot longer than most fighters. Unlike Jones who was the best of the best of the best of the best he got old and due to his style of fighting, he could not hang around as long as someone like Hopkins who relies on skill and defense. However like Hopkins when fighting someone like Calzaghe who throws a lot of "punches" per round, he can be out worked.

I believe before Mayweather retires he will be beaten to the extent of Hopkins. It will be a close fight but the other guy will win because he is more active and possibly younger. I don't see this happening any time soon but I see it before Floyd retires. Nobody right now below 154 beats Floyd.... Besides Floyd won't be fighting Khan now. Khan lost his chance by losing to Peterson. So it doesn't even matter.
