I don't think the first fight was close at all. Molina easily won 4 or 5 round. I haven't been able to find the second fight, but I've read reports that the crowd was booing that decision as well and that Molina should have gotten the win.

His Zbik win is also questionable.

Chavez DOES get hated on. . . Look, the guy had NO AMATEUR CAREER! He started boxing at what? age 19? I don't care how good of a promotional team you have; to go undefeated in 40 some fights PROVES you have talent. . .

Chavez hasn't even been in the fight game a decade, and he's already beaten guys like Zbik (very solid little boxer), Rubio (tough as nails journeyman who blasted out and ruined blue chip prospect), Manfredo (meh, but still. . . ), Duddy and Lyell who are ok. . .

The guy COMES TO FUGGING FIGHT! He doesn't back down in the ring, and he'll put on exciting fights. . . Give the guy his props - he's done something that not just anybody who wants to box can do. . .

Wladimir had even more hype surrounding him from 2000-2003 before the Sanders Ko and he blatantly ducked every top fighter during that time, fighting bums and recycled bags and avoiding both Tyson and Lennox. Obviously the Sanders beat down was a major career set back so he had no star power after that and he couldn't call out anyone. BUT before Sanders for 3 years Wlad was ranked #2-#3 by all various boxing organizations and didn't go after anybody in the top 5.

Chavez Jr actually don't have as much hype as Wlad did, but he is blamed and ****ted on by so many people.

What's to say Chavez Jr won't end up being a even better champion then Wlad became?

I tell you this much Chavez Jr will NEVER get knocked out by a fat golfer, trust me on that. Chavez Jr is just doing what a smart young champion does,
Most of the hate comes from the fact that the real Champ @ 160 was stripped of his title to be given to Chavez just to make him a bigger draw. So we cannot compare the two. However I agree with you lots of fighters are protected and some protect themselves(we all know who).

The difference being, Wladimir ducked lewis and tyson because he was legitimately worried (as he should ) he will get ktfo.

Chavez JR is not fighting Sergio because honestly guys Sergio is a no name. That fight will be all Chavez bringing in the crowds.

If Sergio Martinez had the marketing appeal of say a older DE LA HOYA. Trust me Chavez Jr will go after this guy right now.

For chavez jr THIS IS A HIGH RISK FIGHT

See if Chavez JR wins;;; 'oh sergio is old man rivers'

if chavez jr loses 'oh ya sergio exposed this hype machine'

          there literally is no reward

If Wlad had lost to Tyson or Lewis : good fight by young future star but not yet time'

Chavez is in a tougher situation in that he will be **** on regardless of what happens .
of corse its high risk for him because he is ***** and he will get ktfo.
u sound like ur ready 2 blow him tho

The Klitchko Bro's are simply horrible examples. You can pick the best heavyweights right now & line em up in front the brothers & they get sparked, period.

You can't say the same about Chavez who won't go anywhere near Martinez, who is relatively smaller than him.

A better comparison would be "mr getsapass Canelo", or "I can't even dominate a lightweight in my division where I ranked #1 Pacman". But the Klitcho Bro's are a terrible example.

I think people honestly hate him for his name and the fact he gets the big promotions and marketing on his side.
Dominated both? Did you watch the Zbik fight? Even the unbelievable homer HBO guys didn't have him dominating it, and I had him losing and losing bad on my scorecard. This will be my first and only reply to you, because if you post something this ****** you aren't worth debating.

No Wlad is a great example...

Because a young wlad year 2000-2003 ducked old Lewis and old Tyson.

Now a YOUNG Chavez jr is not fighting old martinez..

Chavez Jr actaully comes out in a more positive light

because Wlad was a big draw before his knockout by sanders and lewis.Tyson were household names THERE WERE NO REASON Wlad didn't call out Lewis or Tyson other than he was scared.

Sergio Martinez is someone who can't even sell out a 4000 seat arena ok.

Chavez Jr gets massive hate because he's a great looking fighter who have a huge company backing him.

                    Also people have to understand

IF CHAVEZ WAS DOING THIS AT AGE 30 still, then he's a scum bag

But how anyone can trash him so much when he's doing this at age 25-26 is beyond me.

How many 25-26 year olds chase after big fights in today's era?

Who the hell did Andre Ward fight at age 25?

Andre Ward entered the Super Six Tournament and beat who many consider the favorite to win it, Mikkel Kessler. Do some research before you write down non-sense.

JCC Jr gets criticized because he has a belt that he did not earn by beating the champion. Maravilla held that belt and the WBC stripped him without a reason and JCC Jr dont want to fight him. How hard is this for some of you to understand?
