I think that other then Wladimir you can find at least a dozen other champions in all divisions that HAVE done what Chavez Jr did. What chavez jr is doing is not a uncommon practice.

The difference being, Wladimir ducked lewis and tyson because he was legitimately worried (as he should ) he will get ktfo.

Chavez JR is not fighting Sergio because honestly guys Sergio is a no name. That fight will be all Chavez bringing in the crowds.

If Sergio Martinez had the marketing appeal of say a older DE LA HOYA. Trust me Chavez Jr will go after this guy right now.

For chavez jr THIS IS A HIGH RISK FIGHT

See if Chavez JR wins;;; 'oh sergio is old man rivers'

if chavez jr loses 'oh ya sergio exposed this hype machine'

    there literally is no reward

If Wlad had lost to Tyson or Lewis : good fight by young future star but not yet time'

Chavez is in a tougher situation in that he will be **** on regardless of what happens .

Nobody respects the Klitschkos outside his 4 fans on this forum. People know they are the product of a dead division.

And Chavez is a poosy coward. He deserves to get ****ted on. 40+ fights claiming and still hasn't fought anybody. Fokk that fraud.

Only casual fans hate on JR. Experts know JCC JR has already cracked the top 100 ATG list at only 26 years old.

Nobody is "HATING ON CHAVEZ JR" he is just not as good as some people hype him up to be, most people know that but some people have their PRIDE and when it comes to talking about Chavez Jr, their PRIDE TAKES OVER and it Blinds them from seeing THE TRUTH

The Truth is that he is a VERY AVERAGE FIGHTER who gets most of his Hype because of who his Dad was and he is PROTECTED BY HIS PROMOTER and I would not be shocked if they are FIXING FIGHTS FOR HIM!

IMO Jr didn't win either. Close fights but he didnt win it especially the first one that shouldn't had been a dram.

Molina had a bad case of no name and bad management. I'm glad that he is getting opportunities cause he does have good solid basic skills along with instincts
Yes i seen both of the fights, the first fight was a real close fight that could of gone either way but the 2nd fight chavez won, you have to respect the fact that he gave molina the rematch instead of avoiding him.

Jr did the same thing with Matt Vanda. He lost the first fight which he was out on his feet and remtch him. He won the second one clearly.

Jr does have a fighter inside of him but there is no denying that he is a big company product with a lot of muscle backing him up.

I don't hate Jr, I don't like the fact that he really is a contender under developement and they pull a lot of strings to give him a title and a also a cherrypick of opponents to defend it

Wladimir had even more hype surrounding him from 2000-2003 before the Sanders Ko and he blatantly ducked every top fighter during that time, fighting bums and recycled bags and avoiding both Tyson and Lennox. Obviously the Sanders beat down was a major career set back so he had no star power after that and he couldn't call out anyone. BUT before Sanders for 3 years Wlad was ranked #2-#3 by all various boxing organizations and didn't go after anybody in the top 5.

Chavez Jr actually don't have as much hype as Wlad did, but he is blamed and ****ted on by so many people.

What's to say Chavez Jr won't end up being a even better champion then Wlad became?

I tell you this much Chavez Jr will NEVER get knocked out by a fat golfer, trust me on that. Chavez Jr is just doing what a smart young champion does,

Where are you getting your info from or are you just making stuff up?Wlad did`nt avoid Lennox,Lennox is the one that avoided him plus Tyson and Wlad did`nt call each other out but Wlad was interested in fighting Tyson one day.

And last time i checked Wlad did fight top fighters in the late 90`s early 2000`s.Chris Byrd is one,Jameel Mcline is another,Monte Barret is another.

And Wlad has been fighting top fighters since early in his career which is part of the reason he has losses on his record cause his flaws was exposed and he later went on to fix it.

And as far as your comments about:
"What's to say Chavez Jr won't end up being a even better champion then Wlad became?"

Well saying and doing is 2 different things.

And you are right about one thing,Chavez will never get knocked by a fat golfer, that`s because Chavez would never fight a fat Golfer whose at the very least have a 1 in a billion chance of beating him.

If you honestly think Lennox and Tyson avoided WLADIMIR from 2000-2003 you are out of your mind.

I don't wanna dig up articles from 2000-2003 stating the lack of activity from Wlad's camp in regards to pushing fights against lewis and Tyson but that is no made up facts.

Wladimir DID NOT push for any fights against Lewis or Tyson when he could have.

I'm not saying that was a dumb move it's not. Im just saying chavez is doing the same thing on a lesser scale so he shouldn't be looked down upon.

Also lol.. if you think a pre STEWARD Wlad will survive against Lewis lol.

If 2000 Wladimir fought even 2000 Tyson Wlad would have die from the first big bomb Tyson threw.

If 2000-2003 Wlad fought Lewis he would have lost his career, his health and 90% of his brain cells.

So WLAD did a super smart thing in ducking.

And please don't even try to defend that a 2000-2003 Wlad can survive more then 3 rounds with 00-03 Lewis.

Most people DON'T EVEN THINK A PRIME WLAD can survive, much less baby Wlad in 2000.

I don't know.. Rubio is a 'average' fighter. Zbik is a average fighter.

Chavez Jr dominated both. He is still a prospect but definitely a top one.

I think people honestly hate him for his name and the fact he gets the big promotions and marketing on his side.
