There are plenty of solid fights to be made for Rios:
Antonio DeMarco (26-2-1, 19 KOs)
Rios-DeMarco has the potential to be a true classic. DeMarco proved himself an elite lightweight by coming from behind to stop Jorge Linares and take the vacant WBC lightweight title
Marcos Maidana (31-3, 28 KOs)
Yeah he just lost to Devon Alexander, but he didnt have any damage in the dec lost. He moving back down to junior welterweight and a bout with Rios at 140 lbs would be an instant classic.
John Molina (23-1, 19 KOs)
Molina lacks the name recognition of other fighters on this list and has mostly fought at the club level up to now, but few lightweights are as earnest and as entertaining as Molina.
Michael Katsidis (28-5, 23 KOs)
He is at the end of a tough, brutal career and has lost three of his last four bouts. But as a late replacement, Katsidis is a top notch opponent and is guaranteed to produce a real war for as long as the fight lasts.
Jorge Linares (31-2, 20 KOs)
Linares may be one of the most skilled fighters in the sport and was on his way to winning the vacant WBC lightweight title before cuts and a hard-charging Antonio DeMarco ended his title dream. He is still the real deal, though, and would give Rios a tough fight and be good test for his brains and conditioning.
