Not really that hard. Like Oscar use to do back in the day: Right after weigh-in you find the biggest bowl of pasta around (no sauce, just noodles) and start the 30-hour rehydration process till the bell rings. Wash it down with gatoraide (for electrolytes and the good sodium/sugar) and add some baked potatoes and bananas into the mix and voila ! You just added 12+ lbs of natural rehydration with some good carbs/potassium to energize the bunny and get ready for battle.

last year's news. The clippers only gad 2 home games in February and one of them was right in the beginning of the month and another at the end. They did that cause they wanted two back to back home games to celebrate

I too think he was overweight.
Too many people are quick to dismiss a fighter after a bad night. Lopez is what he is, a brawler who is exciting to watch and has a good following (which is never a bad thing).
I think he will avenge his loss and be a good name for many guys to want at 130/135.

The weight had nothing to do with how badly he got beat. He still got tagged with that right all night...if anything the weight kept him from getting put to sleep..

I like Juanma, rooting for him since Salido rubs me the wrong way but Juanma is just not skilled enough for elite guys. Im surprised at how slow he is at that weight class too..Gamboa would Hatton or P.Will him... Oh well, I'll still watch his fights. Not sure what he can do different to win against Salido seeing as how he got owned so bad...There's off/bad nights, and there's ass whoopings...he got the second.

I think Juanma got over confident in their first fight, his confidence went up to his head and he simply did not prepare well for the fight therefore Salido clocked that ahsssss. Juanma looked like he didn't even train and took Salido for granted cause of Salido's 11 losses in his record.

You can't compare the Juanma that fought Peñalosa, Ponce de Leon or Rafael Marquez to the Juanma that fought Salido. People in this forum have short memory span from all the weed they smoke and forget the beast that Juanma was before the Salido fight. The guy has 31 wins - 28 by KO and only fought till the twelve round once. The kid is no slouch..... The smoke went to his head is all. Juanma got this....
you fail to realize styles makes fights, and Juanma was getting hit flush, and he don't got no chin, hes defence was not that much better when he fought Oliver. I see the same out come as the first fight but this time Juanma will be put to sleep.

If Juanma can prove he was distracted, come in great shape and adapt to Salido's style better, more power to him. But history shows time and time again that rematches almost always produce the same winner and with quicker results if it was a KO and more points if it was a decision. The odds are against Juanma big time. I'd give him a 20-25% chance if you go by history. Not impossible at all.

Didn't Juanma a day or 2 ago said he wasn't making any excuses for his loss? Well, here's one...

Weight had nothing to do with it. Juanma is the Paul Williams of 126. He just opens up his guard and throws for the fences and gets hit way too much. He never adjusted to block or slip any of Salido's right hands and kept eating them till his body couldn't take no more. He's getting knocked out again

Just the fact that Lopez keeps making excuses makes me believe that he is going to get beat up. He was a fan friendly fighter with marketability that was matched up perfectly to make him look greater than what he really is. He basically just relies on his punch and all Salido had to do is take that punch away and Lopez is beatable. These promoters are not doing their fighters any good by trying to keep them undefeated by having them not take the tougher challenges because once they lose..... they lose big and to Salido who has 11 loses. Totally monkey wrenched his rise. Now he's making excuses so if he gets beat again then we know he is just not the better fighter. Salido looks like he means business. Not believing he is going to let this slip out of his hands.
